Day 4: Holy Spirit Lead this Prayer/Fasting season

We must pray because only the spirit of God knows what is in His heart for us. Therefore, we must ask Him to lead our prayers. He knows what God intends to do in Malawi. He understands the terrain, He knows what lies ahead. We must begin by asking for his guidance/ help as we embark in prayers. We must ask him what He wants/and how He wants things down in Malawi. He alone knows what Malawi needs in this season.

2 Corinthians 13:14 “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.”

Pray that during this season of prayer/fasting, we will open our spirits and allow the entrance of the Holy Spirit so that we can fellowship with Him in spirit and in truth in order that the deep things about God can be revealed to us.

Romans 8:26 “Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.”

Therefore, we must ask the Holy Spirit for help in prayer; what to pray, how to pray in the way that aligns with God’s word and purpose for Malawi.

Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Pray that we will receive a fresh power of the Holy Spirit so that we can be effective witnesses of the true gospel of Jesus Christ.

John 14:26 “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.”

Pray for an open mind to hear and understand the teaching grace and anointing of the Holy Spirit.

2 Corinthians 3:17 “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”

Pray for spiritual and physical liberty during this season of prayer/fasting, that nothing will hinder our prayers in the name of Jesus Christ.

Luke 4:18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed.”

Pray that this word will become a reality in our daily walk with the Lord as we allow the Holy Spirit to guide us.

Ephesians 1:17 “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him”.

The Holy Spirit is also the Spirit of wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Pray that during this season, we will receive this great wisdom to know God more, direction and purpose so that we can serve him to expectation.

Joel 2:28 “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions.”

Pray for an outpour of the power of the Spirit of the living God upon his church even in this season and let there be the manifestation of these declarations in Jesus mighty name.

Isaiah 59:21 “And as for me, this is my covenant with them,” says the Lord: “My Spirit that is upon you, and my words that I have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, or out of the mouth of your offspring, or out of the mouth of your children's offspring,” says the Lord, “from this time forth and forevermore.”

Declare this word over our lives and the church families.

Thank you Lord for day 4. Thank you for the days ahead.
