Day 1: A Thankful Heart
God’s will for us to be JOYFUL PRAYERFUL, and THANKFUL no matter what. So it is important that these words filled our hearts at all times. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 “16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus."
Thank God for salvation.
Jonah 2:9 “But I, with shouts of grateful praise, will sacrifice to you. What I have vowed I will make good. I will say, ‘Salvation comes from the Lord.”
Thank God for his blessings that made you showed kindness to another person.
2 Corinthians 9:11 “You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God."
Thank God for provision but physical and spiritual.
2 Corinthians 9:10 “Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.”
Thank the Lord for being our strength and shield.
Psalm 28:7 “The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.”
Thank God for every experience, challenges, sad and happy days.
1 Timothy 4:4-5 “4 For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, 5 because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer."
Thank God for all those whom God has placed in your path.
1 Corinthians 1:4 “I always thank my God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus."
Thank God for our pastors/ministers of the Gospel who have always been there to give us the word of God.
Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.”
Thank God for delivering us from the kingdom of this world into his unshakable kingdom.
Hebrews 12:28-29 “Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our 'God is a consuming fire.'"
Let thank God for his righteousness upon us. I cannot imagine if I had to make myself righteous.
Psalm 7:17 “I will give to the Lord the thanks due to his righteousness, and I will sing praise to the name of the Lord, the Most High."
Thank God for the peace we experience every day, despite what we hear around the world every day.
Colossians 3:15 “And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful."
Thank God for his unfailing love towards mankind despite our wickedness.
Psalm 107:8-9 “Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind, for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things."
Thank God for the gift of family, children, the church, pastors, friends, homes, and every blessing of the Lord.
James 1:17 “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.
Thank God for all the victories from all the battles we go through every day, some of which we have no idea.
1 Corinthians 15:57 “But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
