21-Day Fast: Day 15 - Standing With The Persecuted Church and The Missionaries

  • Pray that the grace of God will strengthen the persecuted church.

Mathew 5:10-12 “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. “Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”

  • Declare this word over the persecuted church. Pray that God will grant grace upon the persecuted church to see the blessings out of their sacrifice.

John 16:33 “I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

  • Pray that the peace of God will rest upon them as they go through all sorts of torment.

Acts 14:22 “Strengthening the souls of the disciples, encouraging them to continue in the faith, and saying that through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God.”

  • Pray that their faith will be strengthened even in the midst of the unknown.

Psalm 23:4 “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”

  • Pray that God will give them grace not to fear the evil they face daily and let His rod and staff protect them.

  • Pray that the Lord will arise and deliver His people.

Acts 14:21-22 “When they had preached the gospel to that city and had made many disciples, they returned to Lystra and to Iconium and to Antioch, strengthening the souls of the disciples, encouraging them to continue in the faith, and saying that through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God.”

  • Pray that God will continue to raise up people who will stand with the persecuted church to strengthen them and encourage them to continue in their faith walk.

Colossians 4:3-4 “And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should.”

  • Declare this word over them in the name of Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 6:19-20 “Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.”

  • Declare this word over them in the name of Jesus Christ.

Acts 12: 6-7 “On the night before Herod was to bring him to trial, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, with sentries standing guard at the entrance to the prison. Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He tapped Peter on the side and woke him up, saying, "Get up quickly." And the chains fell off his wrists.”

  • Pray for the power of God to intervene where ever the persecuted church and missionaries have been held in bondage.

  • Pray that God will fill them with His power to do the work He has called them to do.

  • Declare this word over them in Jesus’ mighty name

John 14:13-14 “Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.”
