“Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way. “
— 1 Samuel 12:23
“For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding.”
— Colossians 1: 9

The best thing to give to a minister of the gospel is prayers- that they will be filled with Knowledge of God’s will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. Being filled with heavenly knowledge ensures that there will always be a word.

Samuel declared it is sin if prayer is not offered.

Isaiah 62:6 “I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence.”

How can you keep silence when there is no peace?

Why prayer ????

Isaiah 46:13 “I am bringing My righteousness near; it is not far away, and My salvation will not be delayed. I will grant salvation to Zion and adorn Israel with My splendor.”

The righteousness of God and salvation of souls is at hand. Prayer is the spiritual force that can must use to bring this to past.

Isaiah 48:18 “If only you had paid attention to My commandments, your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like waves of the sea.”

Why pray? That they will pray attention to God’s commands.

Isaiah 54:14 “In righteousness you will be established, far from oppression, for you will have no fear. Terror will be far removed, for it will not come near you.”

Why pray??? So that they are established in the righteousness of God.

Romans 16:19 “Everyone has heard about your obedience, so I rejoice over you. But I want you to be wise about what is good and innocent about what is evil.”

Pray that people will only hear and see that they are walking obedience, wisdom, knowledge and understanding of what is good. Pray that they will never be associated with evil.

1 Corinthians 1:4 “I always thank my God for you because of the grace He has given you in Christ Jesus.”

Pray that the grace of Gos given to them will never waxed cold.

Mathew 24:14 “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”

Pray that they will preach the gospel as far as they live.

1 Thessalonians 1:8 “

And now the word of the Lord is ringing out from you to people everywhere, even beyond Macedonia and Achaia, for wherever we go we find people telling us about your faith in God. We don’t need to tell them about it.”

Pray that the word of God is. E so powerful within them so that it rings out of them wherever they go.

2 Timothy 1:13 “Hold on to the pattern of sound teaching you have heard from me, with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus”

Pray that they will only hold onto the true Gospel, sound teaching of the word.

2Timothy 4:2 “Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction.”

Pray that they will not only be Sunday preachers but will preach even out of their comfort zone.

Luke 18:1 “Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.”

Pray that prayer will be the backbone of their lives.

Isaiah 40:31 “But those who wait upon the LORD will renew their strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint”

Pray that as they wait on the Lord, Isaiah 40:31 shall become their portion.

Day 10: 12/6/2 3: God’s Glory Upon the Nations

“All the nations you have made will come and worship before you, O Lord; they will bring glory to your name.”

— Psalm 86:9
“3 Then I turned my face to the Lord God, seeking him by prayer and pleas for mercy with fasting and sackcloth and ashes. 4 I prayed to the Lord my God and made confession, saying, “O Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, 5 we have sinned and done wrong and acted wickedly and rebelled, turning aside from your commandments and rules.”
— Daniel 9:3-5

What a glorious day will that be when nations come together to worship the creator of heaven and earth? As intercessors, we are call to pray this into existence. The word of the Lord say so, it will take fervency, dedicated prayers to bring God’s glory.

In Daniel 9 Daniel takes a stand on behave of the nation to intercede for them. As intercessors, we are called to do the same.

Ask God for Mercy over the sin and wickedness in the nations.

Ask God for mercy on the leaders of the nations

Isaiah 60:12 “For the nation and kingdom that will not serve you shall perish; those nations shall be utterly laid waste.” However, according to Psalm 33:12 “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage!” It is very important that nations serve God.

The nation that will not serve God does not have a good chance. We must pray that their eyes be open to worship God.

Psalm 96:3 – “Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.”

After confession the sins and wickedness of the nation, let us ask God for his presence so that darkness can depart.

Proverbs 14:34 “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.”

Pray that nations will seek all the righteousness of God.

Mathew 28: 18-19 “And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

We have to called to make disciples of all nations, pray that the church will wake up from its slumber on this issue.

Psalm 22: 27 “All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations shall worship before you.”

Pray that the nations will open their eyes and acknowledge the goodness of God and therefore will turn to him in repentance.

Joel 2:12 Yet even now,” declares the Lord, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning;”

Pray for a heart to return to the Lord.

Acts 10:35 “But in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.”

Pray for the fear of God so that we may walk in righteousness and enjoy the presence of God.
