Day 4: Prophetic Declaring Over Our Children

Rejoice, O young man, in your youth, and let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth. Walk in the ways of your heart and the sight of your eyes. But know that for all these things God will bring you into judgment.
— Ecclesiastes 11:9
Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.
— Ephesians 4:29
How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word.
— Psalm 119:9

As we have and will continue to sow the seed of prayers into the lives of our children, our desire is that they live Godly lives, Godly marriages, produce Godly children, spread the aroma of holiness and righteousness in their workplaces, communities, and church. We will continue to sing for joy because our children are walking in the revelation of the glory of God. Our children will not be despised but they will walk as examples of true believers.  “Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.” 1 Timothy 4:12

Declare that as Joshua took hold of the word of the Lord and declared over his household so shall it be with us. Our children will serve ONLY the God that we serve; the creator of the heavens and earth and nothing else. Joshua 24:15 “If it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served which were beyond the River or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

Declare that the blessings of Abraham will rest upon our children and they shall get married the right way and the right time to the right man and woman not the foolishness of today. Declare that the generations after them are blessed because they will walk in obedience. Acts 3:25 “And you are sons of the prophets and of the covenant God made with your fathers when He said to Abraham, ‘ Through your offspring, all the families of the earth will be blessed.” Genesis 22:18 “And through your offspring, all nations of the earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice." Genesis 12:3 “I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you, and all the families of the earth will be blessed through you."

Declare that our children shall go out in joy, peace and even creations will favor them in all their lives. Isaiah 55:12 “You will indeed go out with joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands”. Proverbs 4:18 “18The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, shining brighter and brighter until midday”.

Declare that our children as the future of the church receive the power of the Holy Spirit to minister the word of God through the fivefold ministries. Ephesians 4:11- 12 “11And it was He who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, 12to equip the saints for works of ministry and to build up the body of Christ.” 1 Corinthians 12:28 “And in the church God has appointed first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then workers of miracles, and those with gifts of healing, helping, administration, and various tongues.

Declare this covenant upon our children: The Lord says…..” His Spirit will not depart from the lives of our children….. Isaiah 59:21 “As for Me, this is My covenant with them,” says the LORD. “My Spirit will not depart from you, and My words that I have put in your mouth will not depart from your mouth or from the mouths of your children and grandchildren, from now on and forevermore,” says the LORD.”

Declare a non-stop outpouring of the power of the Holy Spirit over our children until they begin to manifest the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the harvest of uncountable fruits. Joel 2:28 “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions.” Isaiah 32:15 “Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness is a fruitful field, and the fruitful field is counted for a forest.

Declare that because the power of the Holy Spirit is upon the lives of our children, they are anointed preachers, healers of the broken hearts, proclaiming freedom to the captives and calling froth the wrath of God upon the wicked. Isaiah 61:1-3 “1The Spirit of the Lord GOD is on Me because the LORD has anointed Me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent Me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and freedom to the prisoners, 2to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor and the day of our God’s vengeance, to comfort all who mourn 2to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor and the day of our God’s vengeance, to comfort all who mourn”

Declare that our children will be thirty for Lord Isaiah 44:3-4” 3For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.” 4They will sprout among the grass like willows by flowing streams.

Declare this over the children. Isaiah 58:11 “And the Lord will continually guide you, And satisfy your desire in scorched places, And give strength to your bones, And you will be like a watered garden And like a spring of water whose waters do not fail.

Declare that our children will develop a hunger and a thirst for God and the things of God. Declare an outpour of the power of the word and the Holy Spirit upon them. Psalm 42:1-2 “1 As the deer pants for the water brooks, So my soul pants for You, O God. 2My soul thirsts for God, for the living God; When shall I come and appear before God?” Isaiah 44:3 “For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:

Declare that our children will walk in the example God has set for us, he sends his son Jesus to die on the cross because of his love. Declare that our children will walk in the love of Christ. Ephesians 5:1-2 “5 1 Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children 2 and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.”

Declare that our children will not be intimated or discouraged, but will have confident in the promises of the Lord. Declare that the salvation of our children is secured, they are delivered from any form of captivity. Jeremiah 30:10 “As for you, O Jacob My servant, do not be afraid, declares the LORD, and do not be dismayed, O Israel. For I will surely save you out of a distant place, your descendants from the land of their captivity! Jacob will return to quiet and ease, with no one to make him afraid.”

Oh Lord, the frame of our children was not a secret to you, you knew them and set them apart as well as appointment them. Therefore, nothing will challenge the call of God over their lives. We seal this call with the blood of Jesus and declare it permeant in the name of Jesus Christ.  they Psalm 139:15 “My frame was not hidden from You when I was made in secret when I was woven together in the depths of the earth”. Jeremiah 1:4-5 “4The word of the LORD came to me, saying: 5“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

Declare that our children will walk and grow in wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, as well as in the favor of God and man, strong and full of grace to accomplish all their life destinies.  Luke 2:52 “And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.” 1 Samuel 2:26 “And the boy Samuel continued to grow in stature and in favor with the LORD and with man.” Luke 2:40 “ And the Child grew and became strong. He was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon Him.”

Declare that our children must display Isaiah 8:18 “Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion”.

Declare that the Lord will guide the steps of our children and take delight in their entire journey of life, and even when they fall, they will not remain on the ground as they will quickly realize that the Lord is holding their hand. Psalm 37: 23-24 “23The steps of a man are ordered by the LORD who takes delight in his journey. 24Though he falls, he will not be overwhelmed, for the LORD is holding his hand.”

Declare that our children in their generation will possess all these qualities listed here: Daniel 1: 4, 7 “ 4 young men without blemish, handsome, gifted in all wisdom, knowledgeable, quick to understand, and qualified to serve in the king's palace--and to teach them the language and literature of the Chaldeans. 17 “To these four young men God gave knowledge and understanding in every kind of literature and wisdom. And Daniel had insight into all kinds of visions and dreams.” Acts 7:22 “So Moses was educated in all the wisdom of the Egyptians and was powerful in speech and action”.

Stand on the confidence in Christ Jesus to declare that as we have prayed the promises of the Lord over our children, none of them shall fail, the enemy will not steal, stop, alter or delay any one of these promises in any form or shape. They shall all come to pass in Jesus might name.Joshua 23:14 “Now behold, today I am going the way of all the earth, and you know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one word of all the good words which the Lord your God spoke concerning you has failed; all have been fulfilled for you, not one of them has failed.”

Day 3: The Spirit that fights the destinies of Our Children

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you,” declares the LORD, “and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the LORD, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.
— Jeremiah 29:11-14
Many, O LORD my God, are the wonders You have done, and the plans You have for us—none can compare to You—if I proclaim and declare them, they are more than I can count.
— Psalm 40:5
But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.
— Jeremiah 10:10

God has the master plan for the destinies of our children; prosperity, security, hope, and a good future (Jeremiah 29:11). However, as we see further in Jeremiah 29:12-13, there are conditions attached if this plan has to come to pass; “calling on the Lord, coming to him, praying, seeking the Lord with a whole heart.” The bible says in Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it”. It is our responsibility as parents to train our children in the way of the Lord so that even if they go astray at some point, the seeds of the word that has been planted in them never die. The prodigal son went astray but the seed from his father's house never died, he remembered and came back to his senses. We must train our children to develop themselves in studying the word of God, prayer, and seeking God for direction or when faced with challenges. As stated in psalm 40:5, what the Lord has in store for our children is uncountable. Satan and his agents know all about destinies and have been fighting since the time of old. He fought in the time of Joseph, Moses, Jesus, etc. What makes us think it will be different today? God is true, he is the living God and the everlasting King (Jeremiah 10:10), we must stand in the place of prayer and call on God to arise and release his wrath on the agents of satan fighting the destinies of our children. We must stand on this word Isaiah 46:10  “I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, ‘My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.” and declare that God’s purposes for our children must stand and must come to pass. We must secure the destinies of our children and the ONLY place to do so is at the throne of the Father.

Pray against the spirit of the world manipulating the lives of our children. Something that is clearly sinful  in the bible, the world makes it acceptable. This is displayed in TV, the internet, social media, etc; 1 Corithinain2:12 “We have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us.” Romans 8:15 “For you did not receive a spirit of slavery that returns you to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship, by whom we cry, "Abba! Father!"

Pray against the spirit of Herod: Remember this King Herod? This is the spirit that kills destinies. He sees the brightness and potential of our children; he comes and releases a sword of destruction. We must declare the death of this spirit.  “ Then Herod, when he saw that he was deceived by the wise men, was exceedingly angry; and he sent forth and put to death all the male children who were in Bethlehem and in all its districts, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had determined from the wise men.” Mathew 2:16

This same Herod spirit is called the “FOX, it releases the SPIRIT OF FEAR AND INTIMIDATION during prayers so that we stop our prayer, thus children are not delivered. We must stand steadily, and unshakable in the place of prayers and tell the fox we are not moving UNTIL EVERY CHILD IS COMPLETELY DELIVERED.  “ 31At that very hour, some Pharisees came to Jesus and told Him, “Leave this place and get away, because Herod wants to kill You.” 32But Jesus replied, “Go tell that fox, ‘Look, I will keep driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach My goal.” Luke 13:31-32

The Herod spirit likes to shed innocent blood thus can result in physical death. We must declare that the spirit of untimely death will never settle in the lives of our children. Isaiah 59:7 ”Their feet run to evil; they are swift to shed innocent blood. Their thoughts are sinful thoughts; ruin and destruction lie in their wake.” Psalm 118:17 “I will not die, but I will live and proclaim what the LORD has done”.

This same Herod spirit can arrest, bound, and imprison our children and their destinies before finally killing them. Mark 6:17-18 “16 But when Herod heard this, he said, “John, whom I beheaded, has been raised from the dead! 17 For Herod himself had given orders to have John arrested, and he had him bound and put in prison. He did this because of Herodias, his brother Philip’s wife, whom he had married. 18 For John had been saying to Herod, “It is not lawful for you to have your brother’s wife.” We must stand upon the power of Mathew 18:18-19 “ 18Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. 19Again, I tell you truly that if two of you on the earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by My Father in heaven.” and loose our children from the evil and destructive spirit.

Consultation of Spiritists: Why consult the dead on behave of the living? These kinds of consultations involved presenting pictures, names, or something that belongs to our children to these altars with the goal of altering their destinies. We must release the fire of God upon these evil consultations/ altars; they must perish under the heavens and earth never to rise again. Isaiah 8:19 “When men tell you to consult the spirits of the dead and the spiritists who whisper and mutter, shouldn’t a people consult their God instead? Why consult the dead on behalf of the living?”

Some of this wickedness comes from the same persons that are supposed to protect our children. Call on the anger of God against such who practices this kind of wickedness against our children. 2 Kings 21:6 “He sacrificed his own son in the fire, practiced sorcery and divination, and consulted mediums and spiritists. He did great evil in the sight of the LORD, provoking Him to anger.”

The Lord has warned that we should not turn to the medium of a spiritist, pray that God will set his face against anyone who is consultative such as on behalf of our children. Leviticus 19:31 “ You must not turn to mediums or spiritists; do not seek them out, or you will be defiled by them. I am the LORD your God.” Leviticus 20:6 “Whoever turns to mediums or spiritists to prostitute himself with them, I will also set My face against that person and cut him off from his people.”

The spirit of Egypt (enslavement through charms and familiars spirit, work but never achieving and soon gives up, prostitution, idolatry, reliance on anything else but God):  Isaiah 19:3” And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards.  Ezekiel 23:8 “She did not give up the prostitution she began in Egypt, when men slept with her in her youth, caressed her virgin bosom, and poured out their lust upon her”.We must call on the word of God to go out the spirit of Egypt and totally destroy, not returning back until it accomplishes its purpose. Isaiah 55:11 “so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”

Pray against the spirit of Sodom and Gomorrah-the spirit of sexual immorality of all types that have invaded the lives of our children. God totally destroyed everything to the point that Abraham looked and the holy thing he saw was smoked. We must get rid of the totality of this spirit: 1 Corinthians 6:9 “Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, 2 Peter 2:6 If by turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to ashes he condemned them to extinction, making them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly;

Pray against sexual abusers and exploiters who push our children in such sinful and wicked acts: 1 Corinthians 5:1 “1It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and of a kind that is intolerable even among pagans: A man has his father’s wife. 2And you are proud! Shouldn’t you rather have been stricken with grief and have removed from your fellowship the man who did this? 3Although I am absent from you in body, I am present with you in spirit, and I have already pronounced judgment on the one who did this, just as if I were present.” Release the judgment of the Lord by fire upon any sexual perpetrators of our children. Most of them are from within our homes, friends, church, workplaces, and communities. Romans 6:13 “Do not present the parts of your body to sin as instruments of wickedness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and present the parts of your body to Him as instruments of righteousness”

Pray that God will separate our children from ungodly relationships: 1 Corinthians 5:11” But now I am writing you not to associate with anyone who claims to be a brother but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or a verbal abuser, a drunkard or a swindler. With such a man do not even eat.”

The spirit of Rejection and pain: Many children have gone through a lot of pain in their lives and therefore we must stand on the word of God to declare that the identity that has painted them dark must be eroded from their lives and be replaced with what the Lord says- they are people that God will take delight in. Isaiah 62:4 “No longer will you be called Forsaken, nor your land named Desolate; but you will be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; for the LORD will take delight in you, and your land will be His bride”
