21-Day Prayer & Fasting: Day 21 - Give Thanks Always and For Everything to God

Giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all. Both riches and honor come from you, and you rule overall. In your hand are power and might, and in your hand, it is to make great and to give strength to all. And now we thank you, our God, and praise your glorious name.

Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. In his hand are the depths of the earth; the heights of the mountains are his also. The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land. Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!.

Today marks 21 days and final day of our prayer and fasting. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving and a song of Joy/praise to express our gratitude for the strength and grace He poured upon us during these 21 days. Psalm 95:2Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!Psalm 28:7The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.” Giving thanks to God is a form of sacrifice to God as noted in Psalm 50:23The one who offers thanksgiving as his sacrifice glorifies me; to one who orders his way rightly I will show the salvation of God!” and Jonah 2:9But I with the voice of thanksgiving will sacrifice to you; what I have vowed I will pay. Salvation belongs to the Lord!”. As believers in Christ, we must give thanks for our salvation and our journey in knowing Him. Colossians 2:6-7Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.” We come to give God thanks because it is always a good thing to do according to Psalm 92:1It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to your name, O Most High.”

  1. We thank Him for the spirit of joy therefore from this day forward, we will rejoice always and pray without ceasing. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

  2. Thank the Lord for a season of celebration and multiplication as we move forward in life. Jeremiah 30:19Out of them shall come songs of thanksgiving, and the voices of those who celebrate. I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will make them honored, and they shall not be small.”

  3. Thank the Lord for blessing us with children. Psalm 127:3-5Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one's youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.”

  4. We thank the Lord because we do not only have victory through Him but daily, He ensures we our walking in that path by leading us and giving us the strength to get up and go daily. 2 Corinthians 2:14But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere.” 1 Corinthians 15:57But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

  5. Thank the Lord for breaking down walls, gates, and barricades the enemy placed in our path. Palms 107: 15-16Let them give thanks to the LORD for His loving devotion and His wonders to the sons of men. For He has broken down the gates of bronze and cut through the bars of iron.”

  6. Thank the Lord that every mountain before you have been brought down every valley lifted up and all rough paths made smooth. Isaiah 40:4Every valley shall be lifted up, and every mountain and hill made low; the uneven ground will become smooth, and the rugged land a plain.”

  7. We thank the Lord for His love and faithfulness throughout this time and giving us the ability to lay a foundation of the kind of spiritual life we want to live on moving forward. Ezra 3:11And they sang responsively, praising and giving thanks to the Lord, “For he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever toward Israel.” And all the people shouted with a great shout when they praised the Lord, because the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid.”

  8. We give thanks for His goodness throughout this year. I am not sure what it was like for you, but I know that as for me and my household, we only made it here because of Him. Psalm 9:1-2I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; I will recount all of your wonderful deeds. I will be glad and exult in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.”

  9. Thank the Lord for making us righteousness in Christ in order to followship with Him. Without righteousness we will not have anything to do with God, but we have a relationship with Him because in Christ we have been made righteousness. Psalm 7:17I will give to the Lord the thanks due to his righteousness, and I will sing praise to the name of the Lord, the Most High.”

  10. Give Him thanks because of the grace upon us and for the fact that we have each other to lean on. 1 Corinthians 1:4I give thanks to my God always for you because of the grace of God that was given you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 1:2We give thanks to God always for all of you, constantly mentioning you in our prayers.”

  11. Thank the Lord for all the petitions we have tabled before Him. Daniel 6:10When Daniel knew that the document had been signed, he went to his house where he had windows in his upper chamber open toward Jerusalem. He got down on his knees three times a day and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as he had done previously.”

  12. Thank the Lord for wisdom, knowledge and revelation of the mystery of His word. Daniel 2:23To you, O God of my fathers, I give thanks and praise, for you have given me wisdom and might, and have now made known to me what we asked of you, for you have made known to us the king's matter.”

  13. Give thanks that we have not received another kind of a kingdom, but we have the kingdom of the creator of the universe, a kingdom that is settled and cannot be moved or shaken, the kingdom of power and glory, of signs and wonder, of greatness. Hebrews 12:28Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe.”

  14. Thank the Lord for the grace to serve Him whole heartedly in humility. Colossians 3:23-24Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.”

  15. Thank the Lord for His restorative power. He is restoring broken homes, marriages, children back to their parents, courage, truth, love, yes, the hopeless can hope again, restoring finances, jobs, health etc. Joel 2:25-26I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter, my great army, which I sent among you. “You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, who has dealt wondrously with you. And my people shall never again be put to shame.”

  16. Give thanks to God for hearing the cry of our hearts. 1 John 5:14-15And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.”

  17. Finally, give thanks for how God formed us, so special to Him. Psalm 139:13-14For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.”

21-Day Prayer & Fasting: Day 20 – Standing Against the Spiritual Forces of Wickedness

Put on the full armor of God, so that you can make your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” Therefore take up the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you will be able to stand your ground, and having done everything, to stand.
— Ephesians 6:11-13

The devil wants to populate his kingdom and therefore he fights us on a daily basis even though he knows we have been rescued as stated in Colossians 1:13He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of His beloved Son.” We must pray because Satan is constantly going around. Job 2:2And the LORD said to Satan, "Where have you come from?" Satan answered the LORD, "From roaming throughout the earth, going back and forth on it." In his mission, he wants to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Therefore, we must put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:11) and stand in Christ (God’s truth). The full armor is our protective gear and what identifies us as God’s children in the warzone. While standing we do not stand like fools, but we stand vigilantly in the spirit because Satan is always going around looking for the least opportunity to commit his evil on whoever he finds as stated in 1 Peter 1:5:8Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.”

We must understand our position in Christ, a position of victory. When we put on the full armor of God, we know fully well that is not a physical battle as well as our God is not physical. We come also with the understanding that we have not come to an already place but unto mount Zion, the place of victory, the place where the Glory of God is being displayed according to Hebrews 12:22Instead, you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to myriads of angels.” Isaiah 24:23The moon will be confounded and the sun ashamed; for the LORD of Hosts will reign on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, and in the presence of His elders, He will display His glory.”

God has blessed us in the heavenly realms with the spiritual weapons that we can use at the warzone to confront the enemy. Ephesians 1:3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms”. Exodus 15:3” The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.” Revelation 19:11Then I saw heaven standing open, and there before me was a white horse. And its rider is called Faithful and True. With righteousness He judges and wages war.” We serve a God who is a mighty man of war, therefore He blesses us with the weapons of war. The reason being that every believer irrespective of who you are or are called to do is in some form of spiritual battle not by choice. The good news is that we fight a war that started on the cross and Jesus was declared the winner. Anything that was disadvantageous to us, Jesus canceled it by the power of His blood and he defeated the powers that stood or would want to stand in our way of breakthrough even today. Colossians 2:14-15 having canceled the debt ascribed to us in the decrees that stood against us. He took it away, nailing it to the cross! And having disarmed the powers and authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.”  We live in Christ according to Galatians 2:20I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Therefore, our battle is from the place of victory in Christ Jesus. In Christ we are trained for battle. Psalm 18:34He trains my hands for war, so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.” Although He trains us for battle, He does not stay behind while we go into the battle field alone. He is there with us as noted in 1 Samuel 16:18One of the young men answered, “Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, who is skillful in playing, a man of valor, a man of war, prudent in speech, and a man of good presence, and the Lord is with him.”

 You ask, why war when Jesus already won the battle?

1 John 5:19We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.” We live in the world where evil strives and that is why Jesus prayed in John 17:15I am not asking that You take them out of the world, but that You keep them from the evil one.”  Ephesians 6:12 makes us to understand that the evil one is made up of a network of powers, principality, rulers, and spiritual forces of wickedness. These were the same wickedness that Daniel had to confront in Daniel 10:11-13He said to me, “Daniel, you are a man who is highly precious. Consider carefully the words that I am about to say to you. Stand up, for I have now been sent to you.” And when he had said this to me, I stood up trembling. “Do not be afraid, Daniel,” he said, “for from the first day that you purposed to understand and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them. However, the prince of the kingdom of Persia opposed me for twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left there with the kings of Persia.” We have been given the power and authority to fight and claim that which is rightly ours while we pass by the earth. Luke 4:6"I will give You authority over all these kingdoms and all their glory," he said. "For it has been relinquished to me, and I can give it to anyone I wish.”

Arise and remind Mr. counterfeit that Jesus canceled everything that was written against you. Remind him that he was also defeated, stripped naked, and exposed by Jesus Christ on the Cross. Colossians 2:14-15having canceled the debt ascribed to us in the decrees that stood against us. He took it away, nailing it to the cross! And having disarmed the powers and authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.” 

 Remind Mr. counterfeit where you are standing; in Christ, Mt Zion, God’s city with Angles ministering to your needs, followship with other believes, God Himself as judge, Jesus, the place of the new covenant, where Jesus’ blood is present and speaking, thus the line is drawn, Satan cannot enter this zone. Hebrew 12:22-24 But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, in joyful assembly, to the congregation of the firstborn, enrolled in heaven. You have come to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.”

Stand on the power of the blood of Jesus Christ and remind Satan that you have ruled over him by the blood of Jesus and by the word of your testimony that you are aware that Satan was defeated on the cross of Calvary. Revelation 12:11And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.”

It is time for us to arise now. We have been in fasting for 20 days already. Cry out and declare that things must stand still now for you to push through the line of victory. We cannot afford to fight the same kinds of war and going through the same issues we had before. We need a breakthrough now. Call on the Lord to arise as in the days of Joshua. Joshua 10:10-13And the LORD threw them into confusion before Israel, who defeated them in a great slaughter at Gibeon, pursued them along the ascent to Beth-horon, and struck them down as far as Azekah and Makkedah. And as they fled before Israel, while they were going down the ascent of Beth-horon, the Lord threw down large stones from heaven on them as far as Azekah, and they died. There were more who died because of the hailstones than the sons of Israel killed with the sword. At that time Joshua spoke to the Lord in the day when the Lord gave the Amorites over to the sons of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, “Sun, stand still at Gibeon, and moon, in the Valley of Aijalon.” And the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, until the nation took vengeance on their enemies. Is this not written in the Book of Jashar? The sun stopped in the midst of heaven and did not hurry to set for about a whole day.”

  1. Pray that God will stand by you and strengthened you as you face challenges in doing the work, He has called you to do. Pray that He will also recuse you and your ministry from the hand of the evil one.  2 Timothy 4:17-18But the Lord stood by me and strengthened me, so that through me the message would be fully proclaimed, and all the Gentiles would hear it. So I was delivered from the mouth of the lion. And the Lord will rescue me from every evil action and bring me safely into His heavenly kingdom. To Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.”

  2. David’s God is the same God we serve today. The same one who delivered you in the past. Pray that He will arise again and deliver you from any Philistine who is trying to interfere in your life. 1 Samuel 17:37David added, "The LORD, who delivered me from the claws of the lion and of the bear, will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine." "Go," said Saul, "and may the LORD be with you."

  3. Pray that any evil eye, hand, feet, thought towards you and your household must return back to the place of origin and on the originator. 1 Kings 2:44The king also said, "You know in your heart all the evil that you did to my father David. Therefore, the LORD will bring your evil back upon your head.”  Psalm 7:15-16He has dug a hole and hollowed it out; he has fallen into a pit of his own making. His trouble recoils on himself, and his violence falls on his own head.” Esther 9:25But when it came before the king, he commanded by letter that the wicked scheme which Haman had devised against the Jews should come back on his own head, and that he and his sons should be hanged on the gallows.”

  4. The word of the Lord says NOW GO AND STRIKE AMALEK. Arise therefore and call a strike on any power, man, object, principality standing and opposing your journey. 1 Samuel 15:2-3Thus says the Lord of hosts, ‘I have noted what Amalek did to Israel in opposing them on the way when they came up out of Egypt. Now go and strike Amalek and devote to destruction all that they have. Do not spare them, but kill both man and woman, child and infant, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.”

  5. Stretch forth your hand and stand upon the anointing that was upon Moses and ask the Lord send forth thunder hailstone, lighting upon any power of the earth that is holding you captive or anything that belongs to you. Exodus 9:23So Moses stretched out his staff toward heaven, and the LORD sent thunder and hail, and lightning struck the earth. So the LORD rained hail upon the land of Egypt.”

  6. Any King Uzziah standing in the way of your breakthrough, declare them death. Isaiah 6:1In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple.”

  7. Stand on this Word of God and call forth the fire of God against any weapon the enemy is trying to use against you. It cannot stand according to God’s word. Isaiah 54:17No weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall confute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication from me, declares the Lord.”

  8. Ask the Lord to arise and stretch His hand against the wrath of your enemies. Psalm 138:7Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and your right hand delivers me.”

21-Day Prayer & Fasting: Day 19 – Decree It and It Shall Be Established

Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows. Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.
— Job 22:27-28

God’s Word is so rich with tools for our daily living. We just need to find out which tools to use for what purpose. One of the greatest tools is to decree His Word over our lives and circumstances. What does this mean? A decree is an official rule of law given by a legal authority. It means to command, order, or proclaim by authority. Other Bible interpretations have used other words like decide and declare. God has given us legal authority over His Word to speak it into situation and expects an outcome as God ensures that His Word does not return to Him void.

To decree a thing and have it established is to stand on the power and authority in the Word of God you are holding or referencing, affirm and align that Word with heaven (Psalm 119:89Forever, O LORD, Your word is settled in heaven.”) and command that Word to be moved from its heavenly kingdom or realm into the physical realm on the earth to be made manifest upon your life or situation (Mathew 6:10Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”). You are standing like Mary decreeing as in Luke 1:38And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word.” The reason you are doing this is because God is waiting for your mouth to speak that blessing or promise into existence according Jeremiah 1:12The LORD said to me, "You have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled." The Lord then stands and watches His Word to come to pass in your life according to Psalm 138:8 The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands.” This is because His released Word cannot return to Him void according to Isaiah 55:11so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”

We are going to decree these words into our lives, then wait on God to preform it according to our believe and truth in His Word. What we are doing is that we are affirming that this is what our lives and circumstance shall be as we enter and serve God into 2021 and the years ahead.

  1. Galatians 2:20I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

  2. 2 Corinthians 7:1Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God.”

  3. Philippians 4:4-7Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

  4. 2 Corinthians 12:9But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

  5. John 14:26But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.”

  6. John 15:7-8If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.”

  7. Numbers 23:19God is not a man, that He should lie, or a son of man, that He should change His mind. Does He speak and not act? Does He promise and not fulfill?”

  8. Isaiah 59:21 "As for Me, this is My covenant with them," says the LORD. "My Spirit who is on you, and My words that I have put in your mouth, will not depart from your mouth, from the mouths of your children, or from the mouths of your children's children, from now on and forevermore," says the LORD.”

  9. Jeremiah 10: 10-12But the LORD is the true God; He is the living God and eternal King. The earth quakes at His wrath, and the nations cannot endure His indignation. Thus you are to tell them: “These gods, who have made neither the heavens nor the earth, will perish from this earth and from under these heavens.” The LORD made the earth by His power; He established the world by His wisdom and stretched out the heavens by His understanding.”

  10. Isaiah 43:2When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.”

  11. Psalm 23:1-6The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.”

  12. Romans 8:38-39For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

  13. Isaiah 40:29-31He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”

  14. Deuteronomy 31:6Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”

  15. Exodus 15:26Saying, “If you will diligently listen to the voice of the Lord your God, and do that which is right in his eyes, and give ear to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you that I put on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, your healer.”

  16. Isaiah 54:17No weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall confute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication from me, declares the Lord.”

  17. Isaiah 49:25For thus says the Lord: “Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken, and the prey of the tyrant be rescued, for I will contend with those who contend with you, and I will save your children.”

  18. Psalm 91:4-6He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler. You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor the destruction that wastes at noonday.”

  19. Ephesians 3:16-19That according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”

  20. Proverbs 3:5-6Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”

  21. Psalm 18:2The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer. My God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”

But from the beginning of creation, ‘God made them male and female.’ ‘Therefore, a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.’ So, they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.
— Mark 10:6-9
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.
— Genesis 1:27-28

God created a male and a female and saw that there was a need for these two to come together in what He called marriage. His goal was so that they could be of assistance to one another, as well as produce more of their kind. The only way God was able to bring a man and a woman together in marriage was by Him standing as a witness and making them together as one flesh after their union: as husband and wife. This is the only legal relationship permitted by God. Today people marry for convenience; “let’s try it and if it does not work, we can separate”.  Marriage has become an experiment rather than a covenant. There is so much neglect and abuse of God’s Word today. There are about 30% to 50% divorce rates within the church. Additionally, people have redefined what they think marriage should be even to the point where a woman gets married to another woman or a man to another man. They challenge God, telling Him they will choose their own way. Marriage has been abused even by the church.

  1. Pray for the restoration of the covenant of marriage according to the Word of God stated above. Mark 10:6-9 and Genesis 1:27-28

  2. Pray that the husband will always see the wife as part his rib, thus part of his own body parts and thus will treat his wife with God’s love. Genesis 2:22-24And the rib that the Lord God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man. Then the man said, “This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.” Therefore, a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh”.

  3. Pray that husbands will heed to this word and guard themselves spiritually to prevent marital problems in their home. Malachi 2:14-15Yet you ask, "Why?" It is because the LORD has been a witness between you and the wife of your youth, against whom you have broken faith, though she is your companion and your wife by covenant. Has not the LORD made them one, having a portion of the Spirit? And why one? Because He seeks godly offspring. So guard yourselves in your spirit and do not break faith with the wife of your youth.”

  4. Pray that couples will focus on their values as two of them together, rather than selfish individualist ambitions. Ecclesiastes 4:9-12Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.”

  5. Pray that God will grant grace for couples to keep their marriage vows even in the mist of marital crisis. Ruth 1:16-17But Ruth said, “Do not urge me to leave you or to return from following you. For where you go, I will go, and where you lodge, I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God my God. Where you die, I will die, and there will I be buried. May the Lord do so to me and more also if anything but death parts me from you.”

  6. Pray for humility, gentleness and patience with one another. Stand against pride and arrogance. Ephesians 4:2With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love

  7. Pray that the husband will take his rightful place and responsivity in marriage, as head. There is so much that is expected. One cannot leave without a head. 1 Corinthians 11:3But I want you to understand that the head of every man is Christ, the head of a wife is her husband, and the head of Christ is God.”

  8. Pray that husbands will be consumed with love for their wives instead of divorce. Malachi 2:16For the man who does not love his wife but divorces her, says the Lord, the God of Israel, covers his garment with violence, says the Lord of hosts. So, guard yourselves in your spirit, and do not be faithless.”

  9. Pray that couples will seek time to enjoy their marriages. Ecclesiastes 9:9Enjoy life with the wife whom you love, all the days of your vain life that he has given you under the sun, because that is your portion in life and in your toil at which you toil under the sun.”

  10. Pray against the weapon of division, divorces, adultery, selfishness, self-centeredness etc., in marriages formed against marriages. Isaiah 54:17no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from me," declares the LORD.”

  11. Arise and challenges these evil forces that continues to arise against marriages. Ephesians 6:12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this world’s darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”

  12. Pray against the spirit of adultery in marriages. Mathew 5: 27-28You have heard that it was said, ‘Do not commit adultery.’ But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.”

  13. Pray for those still waiting on God for their marriages that God will arise and help the husband locate his wife.  Pray against the forces of marital delay and misguidedness. Proverbs 18:22He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the LORD.”

  14. Pray that the favor of God will rest upon those waiting on God for marriage. Luke 1:30But the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God.”

  15. Pray against the wicked spirit of same sex relationships going on around the world today. Romans: 1: 24-27Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen. Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.”

  16. Pray against demonic altars standing and chanting against marriages and those who are looking for their spouses. 1 Kings 16:32So he erected an altar for Baal in the house of Baal which he built in Samaria.”

21-Day Prayer & Fasting: Day 17 – Standing in the Gap for the Ministers of the Gospel

And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ.
— Ephesians 4:11-16

Every believer in Christ Jesus has a call and responsibility to the work of the great commission. In addition, some have been assigned to pioneer the Word of God in different areas as needed by the church. Ephesians 4: 11-6 explains that those occupying these different positions are placed there to equip and build the church so that the church will

  1.  Walk in Unity: This is one of the biggest problems in the modern-day church. Jesus prayed according to John 17:21that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.” Unity was so dear in the heart of Jesus. He understood the power of unity and made it a point to pray about it. When we are united, we can accomplish so much. As building blocks in God’s house, we need each other to play our part. How can the church stand if there is disunity? Mark 3:24-25If a kingdom is divided against itself, it cannot stand. If a house is divided against itself, it cannot stand.” Additionally, we have one common enemy; Satan and to fight him, we must stand in unity and defeat him.” Leviticus 26:8Five of you will pursue a hundred, and a hundred of you will pursue ten thousand, and your enemies will fall by the sword before you.” The enemy understands the power of unity. He knows that whatever we agree upon the earth God stamps it approved in the heaven (Matthew 18:19). He also knows that when two or three are gathered in unity, the Lord is there (Matthew 18:20). It is interesting because the ministers of the Gospel understand this yet they walk in disunity.

  2. Knowledge of God’s glory: Jesus came to shine His light into the darkness of the world. 2 Corinthians 4:4In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” The gods of this world have blinded the eyes, block the ear, and the minds of their understanding and therefore they cannot accept the word of God. 2 Corinthians 4:6For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God's glory displayed in the face of Christ.” Jesus is the knowledge of God and He thought the knowledge of God during His own ministry on earth as noted in His prayer in John 17:8 For I have given them the words You gave Me, and they have received them. They knew with certainty that I came from You, and they believed that You sent Me.” Through this knowledge the church is able to unveil the knowledge of the glory of God according to Isaiah 40:5 And the glory of the LORD will be revealed, and all people will see it together. For the mouth of the LORD has spoken." Without the glory of God in the church, I have no idea why the church should be in existence. When the earth is covered with the knowledge of His glory, it leads to growth and maturity in the church and thus the fullness of Christ. With the knowledge of His glory flowing and radiating in the church, people will see and want to worship God as stated in Psalm 22:27All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the LORD. All the families of the nations will bow down before Him.” Spiritual growth and knowledge of the Lord enables Christians to grow in their ability to discern and confront issues of life with the truth of God’s Word instead of falsehood, cunning, and craftiness perpetuated by the false preachers who are after their gain rather than promoting spiritual growth.

Every true minister of the Word has been called into whatever work they do by the same Holy Spirit and thus expected to teach, build, and guide Christians towards heaven. 1 Corinthians 12:8To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by the same Spirit.” All minsters of the Gospel are expected to be working on one goal; transformation into God’s image as indicated by 2 Corinthians 3:18And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into His image with intensifying glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” This is done through teaching the Word. They cannot teach the truth if they are lacking, thus they must know the Word to preach/teach  so that it will shine in their lives and beyond. 2 Peter 1:19We also have the word of the prophets as confirmed beyond doubt. And you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.”

There is the need to pray for these ministers that God will mold and use them to bring His glory in the church. Pray that God will raise intercessors in every ministry He has called and given His work on this earth.

  1. Pray that God will be gloried in every aspect of the work He has placed in the hands of these ministers. 1 Peter 4:11 Whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.”

  2. Pray that God will grant grace to the ministers to shepherd God’s flock just according to what is written in this passage. 1 Peter 5:2-4Shepherd the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but willingly, as God would have you; not for shameful gain, but eagerly; not domineering over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock. And when the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.”

  3. Pray that the church will gain insight of the role of the ministers of the Gospel and will seek to respect them and the grace they carry. 1 Thessalonians 5:12We ask you, brothers, to respect those who labor among you and are over you in the Lord and admonish you.”

  4. Pray for the anointing over the ministers to preach Christ and not themselves. Pray for the anointing to shine forth the glory of God. 2 Corinthians 4:5-6For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.”

  5. Pray against any form of negligence in the lives of the ministers. 2 Chronicles 29:11My sons, do not now be negligent, for the Lord has chosen you to stand in his presence, to minister to him and to be his ministers and make offerings to him.”

  6. Pray that they will be careful to attend to the physical and spiritual needs of the flock. Acts 20:28Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood.”

  7. Pray that they will be passionate to delight themselves daily in the Lord. Isaiah 58:14Then you will delight yourself in the LORD, and I will make you ride on the heights of the land and feed you with the heritage of your father Jacob." For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.”

  8. Pray that they will obey the command to preach the Word of God. Acts 10:42-43And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead”. 2 Timothy 4:2 “Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching.”

  9. Pray for a fresh baptism of the power of the Holy Spirit upon them. Acts 1:8But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Romans 15:19Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.”

  10. Pray that ministers of the gospel will desire to spend time in the presence of God so that He can teach them and give them the Word for the season. Isaiah 50:4The Sovereign LORD has given me a well-instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary. He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being instructed.”

  11. Pray that as they seek God, He will put His Word in them so they will not speak themselves. Jeremiah 1:9Then the LORD put forth his hand and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.”

  12. Pray that God will raise and establish ministers after His heart. Jeremiah 23:4I will raise up shepherds over them who will tend them, and they will no longer be afraid or dismayed, nor will any go missing, declares the LORD.”

  13. Pray that they will be protected and strengthened every day of their lives. 2 Thessalonians 3:3-5But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one. 4 We have confidence in the Lord that you are doing and will continue to do the things we command. 5 May the Lord direct your hearts into God's love and Christ's perseverance.”

  14. Pray that God shall supply their needs in every aspect of life, family and ministry. Philippians 4:19And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”

  15. Pray that the church will support the ministers of the gospel in providing and praying for them. 1 Thessalonians 5:12-13We ask you, brothers, to respect those who labor among you and are over you in the Lord and admonish you, and to esteem them very highly in love because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves.”

  16.  We must also stand on God’s Word and declare that false ministers shall not prevail. Ezekiel 34:2 "Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel. Prophesy and tell them that this is what the Lord GOD says: 'Woe to the shepherds of Israel, who only feed themselves! Should not the shepherds feed their flock?” 2 Peter 2:1But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction.”

21-Day Prayer & Fasting: Day 16 – Hear My Cry, O God; Listen to my Prayer

Hear my cry, O God; listen to my prayer. From the ends of the earth, I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the foe.
— Psalm 61: 1-3

One major characteristic of our God is the fact that He hears, listens, and answers us when we call unto Him. 1 Peter 3:12For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil." This is comforting to know that we are not praying to an image or something. We pray to the creator of the universe whose eyes are on us and ears attentive to our prayers. He does not only see us and hear but he also answers us according to Psalm 65: 2You who answer prayer, to you all people will come”. We must come to the place where we bring our problem before God and cry to Him for help knowing that He sees, hear and will answer us at His time.  Exodus 2:23After a long time, the king of Egypt died. The Israelites groaned and cried out under their burden of slavery, and their cry for deliverance from bondage ascended to God.” We come into the place of prayer in confidence according to Hebrews 4:16Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 10:35-36Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised.” God expects us to bring our request to Him and He answers us based on His will for us. No one can question Him. Romans 9:20But who are you, a human being, to talk back to God? "Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, 'Why did you make me like this?” As we trust the Lord to hear our cry, we stand on His promises as in Joshua 1:9Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Knowing that God cannot and will never forsake His own. He is faithful in everything He does. When we pray, we should remember this verse Numbers 23:19God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?’ When does not answer at our time or the way we wanted, that does not change who he says he is.

NOTE:  

Today we will focus on our individual prayer points. During the 9pm prayer line we will pray on them accordingly. Some of you did already send your prayer points to me.

  1. Pray that God’s covenant with the church will not be tempered with. Deuteronomy 7:9Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations.”

  2. Pray that we will not be rejected by the Lord, but that we will ALL enter His kingdom by grace. Matthew 7:21-23Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.”

  3. Pray that the Lord will arise and restore health and bring healing over His body. Jeremiah 30:17For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord, because they have called you an outcast: ‘It is Zion, for whom no one cares!”

  4. Ask the Lord to send help for deliverance from any philistine who has been a torn in your flesh. 1 Samuel 9:16 "At this time tomorrow I will send you a man from the land of Benjamin, and you are to anoint him leader over My people Israel; he will deliver them from the hand of the Philistines. For I have looked upon My people, because their cry has come to Me."

21-Day Prayer & Fasting: Day 15 – Our Identity as a Citizen of the Church of God

So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.
— Ephesians 2:19-22

In Christ, our identity is changed from the state of stranger, alien, or guest to that of a citizen in the house of God. A citizen is a legally recognized person of a nation. A citizen is eligible to acquire the benefits of the nation he/she is a citizen of. We enter into God’s house as building blocks to be used in building His house on a solid foundation.  According to 1 Peter 2:5You yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ”. There is no solid building without a solid foundation. The only true and secure foundation is that which has been put in place by the apostles, the prophets and Jesus Christ Himself as the Cornerstone. Without the Cornerstone, the house cannot stand strong. What distinguishes and qualifies us as building blocks is the fact that when we come to Christ, He makes us alive in Him. After being made alive in Christ we are able to present ourselves as building blocks. As these building blocks, we are living, spiritual, and holy, with the main purpose of offering continuous spiritual sacrifices to God. Matthew 7:24-27Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.” Therefore, our identity as citizens is in our ability to hear, study and act upon and continuously abide in the word of the Lord because that is the only way that we can remain secure in our citizenship.

  1. Pray that the church will have a desire to continuously abide in the teachings of Christ, which is the source of life for our existence. 2 John 1:9-11 “Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God. Whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house or give him any greeting, for whoever greets him takes part in his wicked works.”

  2. Paul is encouraging us here on how we should present ourselves at the altar when we come as a sacrifice. Pray that our sacrifice will not be rejected. Genesis 4:4-5And Abel also brought an offering--fat portions from some of the firstborn of his flock. The LORD looked with favor on Abel and his offering, but on Cain and his offering he did not look with favor. So Cain was very angry, and his face was downcast.” Romans 12:1Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God--this is your true and proper worship.”

  3. The church has been made holy through the sanctifying power of the blood of Jesus Christ. Pray that we will continue to allow that sanctifying power of the blood flow through us in our daily walk with the Lord. Deuteronomy 14:2for you are a holy people belonging to the LORD your God. The LORD has chosen you to be His prized possession out of all the peoples on the face of the earth”.

  4. There is no one that does not wish to be rich in material things. Translate that into spiritual riches, which will bless us and those around us. We can only be blessed by the Word of God if we dwell in it. So pray that the church will desire the Word of God so that it will dwell richly in us, transform us, and bless those around us. Colossians 3:16Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.”

  5. Pray that our daily walk will be worthy of who we are in Christ and nothing less. Philippians 1:27Nevertheless, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in one spirit, contending side by side for the faith of the gospel.”

  6. Pray for the spirit of discernment so that we will be able to identify falsehood and chase them out of our churches and communities. Romans 16:17I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them.”

  7. Declare this word on your life and the church for this is who we are. 1 Peter 2:9-10But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Once you were not a people, but now you are God's people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.”

  8. For the fact that we are building on the foundation of the apostles, we must follow through with the example they left.  Pray that as a church or body we will be devoted to the foundation that has been laid by them. Acts 2:42And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.”

  9. One of the characteristics of the apostles was the investment in studying the word of God. Today everybody is so busy and always complaining about time. Pray that the church will devote time to studying the word of God. 2 Timothy 2:15Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.”

  10. Pray for a Pentecostal visitation over the church again. Acts 2: 1-4 When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.”

  11. We have been commanded to love, it’s not debatable. Pray that the love of God will burn in the heart of the church. John 13:34-35A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

  12. Pray that we will constantly remind ourselves that our bodies belong to God and they are not a temple of wickedness. Romans 6:13Do not present the parts of your body to sin as instruments of wickedness but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and present the parts of your body to Him as instruments of righteousness.”

  13. Our God is faithful to His Word and there is no doubt about it. His desire is that the church walks in unity. Pray for unity in the church. 1 Corinthians 1:9-10God, who has called you into fellowship with His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful.   14. Pray that we will all identify our place in the house of the Lord and keep away from jealousy and competition. 24-Hour Praying & Fasting: Day 14 - The Suffering Communities of the World

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion—to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.
— Isaiah 61:1-3

Jesus was anointed for the kind of ministry which was filled with compassion and love, characterized by preaching and teaching the Gospel, healing the sick, miracles, casting out demons, and feeding the poor as indicated by the quotations below.

  • Mathew 4:22 Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.”

  • Luke 4:43But Jesus told them, "I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns as well, because that is why I was sent."

  • Luke 7:21At that very hour Jesus healed many people of their diseases, afflictions, and evil spirits, and He gave sight to many who were blind.”

  • Acts 10:38 “how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how Jesus went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, because God was with Him.”

  • Mathew 15: 35-39He told the crowd to sit down on the ground. Then he took the seven loaves and the fish, and when he had given thanks, he broke them and gave them to the disciples, and they in turn to the people. They all ate and were satisfied. Afterward the disciples picked up seven basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. The number of those who ate was four thousand men, besides women and children. After Jesus had sent the crowd away, he got into the boat and went to the vicinity of Magadan.”

We have received the same anointing that was upon Christ. Being baptized in Him to do the work that He left on earth by the power of the Holy Spirit at work in us. Romans 8:11And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.” The only way to accomplish this work is by receiving the love of the Father and giving it out. We cannot give what we don’t have.  LOVE IS THE KEY NEEDED TO UNLOCK THE HEARTS OF PEOPLE WITH THE WORD OF GOD. You may pretend to display the gospel with your mouth, but it will not have a great impact if not seasoned with the love of the Father. 1 Corinthians 13:1-3If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.” One of the ways we can demonstrate love is by analyzing Mathew 15: 35.

Around the world there are different types of suffering, to name a few; war, hunger, poverty, drought, poor health, no accessibility to resources common to man and enslavement. In the same world, there are some who never understood what it means to suffer. The selfishness of man has resulted to wickedness and unnecessary pain being inflicted in the lives of the poor.

  1. Pray that we will not waste the anointing of God that has been placed upon our lives; going around and doing good like Jesus (Acts 10:38).

  2. Pray that we will be consumed by love and compassion that Jesus demonstrated in His ministry of serving the people. Matthew 15:32And Jesus called His disciples to Him, and said, “I feel compassion for the people, because they have remained with Me now three days and have nothing to eat; and I do not want to send them away hungry, for they might faint on the way.”

  3. Pray that we will have a heart to always remember the suffering communities in giving, praying or helping in whatever way possible. Leviticus 19:9-10When you reap the harvest of your land, do not reap to the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest. Do not go over your vineyard a second time or pick up the grapes that have fallen. Leave them for the poor and the foreigner. I am the Lord your God.” Isaiah 58:7Is it not to divide your bread with the hungry And bring the homeless poor into the house; When you see the naked, to cover him; And not to hide yourself from your own flesh?”

  4. Taking care of the needy is a command from the Lord. Pray that the Spirit of obedience will be our portion so we will not neglect the poor. Deuteronomy 15:11For the poor will never cease from the land; therefore I command you, saying, ‘You shall open your hand wide to your brother, to your poor and your needy, in your land.”

  5. God expects justice and mercy from man but around the world we see many unjust things. What explanation do we have for rich leaders existing in the same nation with the poor who cannot afford a basic meal? Pray that God will touch the hearts of leaders and the rich to distribute their wealth. Micah 6:8He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God.” Psalm 72:4He will bring justice to the poor of the people; He will save the children of the needy, and will break in pieces the oppressor?”

  6. Pray that we will arise and shine our light by physically getting involved in assisting the poor and the afflicted in the nations. Isaiah 58:10If you pour yourself out for the hungry and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in the darkness and your gloom be as the noonday.”

  7. If the same spirit of Christ is upon us then we must pray that we will be moved with this same compassion for those who do not have around the world. Be it our churches, communities, families, or nations.  Matthew 15:32And Jesus called His disciples to Him, and said, “I feel compassion for the people, because they have remained with Me now three days and have nothing to eat; and I do not want to send them away hungry, for they might faint on the way.”

  8. Pray that humility will consume every aspect of our lives in our service to God. It will take humility to come to the level of inviting the poor, lame or blind to our rich lives and homes. Luke 14:13-14But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind. And you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you; for you shall be repaid at the resurrection of the just.”

  9. Pray that God will help us to consider the needy in any way possible. Psalm 41:1Blessed is he who considers the poor; The Lord will deliver him in time of trouble.”

  10. Pray that our ears will be opened to the cry of the needy in our communities; those in jail, those in the war-torn nations etc. Proverbs 21:13Whoever shuts his ears to the cry of the poor Will also cry himself and not be heard.”

  11. Pray against the spirit of slavery against the needy in the nations. Proverbs 14:31He who oppresses the poor reproaches his Maker, but he who honors Him has mercy on the needy.”

  12. The anointing that breaks the yoke of the wicked, frees the captives. It is upon us so arise and defend them in the spirit realm.  Psalm 82:3-4Defend the poor and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy; Free them from the hand of the wicked.”

  13. In many parts of the world, we hear conflict, recurring severe drought resulting in high prices of food and sometimes no food at all. People are starving to death. Pray that God will water the earth and enable production in the land. Zechariah 10:1Ask rain from the Lord in the season of the spring rain, from the Lord who makes the storm clouds, and he will give them showers of rain, to everyone the vegetation in the field.”

  14. Pray that the heart of man will be opened towards the unreached in the rural and poor communities. 1 John 3:17-18But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but indeed and in truth.” Deuteronomy 15:7-8 “If among you, one of your brothers should become poor, in any of your towns within your land that the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not harden your heart or shut your hand against your poor brother, but you shall open your hand to him and lend him sufficient for his need, whatever it may be.”

21-Day Prayer & Fasting: Day 13 – Oh America Return to the Lord

Return, O Israel, to the Lord your God, for your sins have brought you down. Bring your confessions and return to the Lord. Say to him, forgive all our sins and graciously receive us, so that we may offer you our praises. Assyria cannot save us, nor can our warhorses. Never again will we say to the idols we have made, ‘You are our gods.’ No, in you alone do the orphans find mercy.” The Lord says, “Then I will heal you of your faithlessness; my love will know no bounds, for my anger will be gone forever.
— Hosea 14:1-4

If you have been very observant, you can tell that American has been in a dark place for a long time and the church who is supposed to shine the light, has positioned itself on a platform that has not been approved by God. There continue to be lots of division within the same body in the church. The common enemy of the church, Satan has done well to create division among the people. The role of the church is to stand on truth and bring unity in this nation but it seems the church is in the political forum. The church in America is currently blind, divided, and confused. How can they then lead the nation to the place of repentance? How can they call for unity, healing, and restoration? A blind man cannot lead another blind man. The heart of God is bleeding over the sin in this land. American is a laughing stock around the world today. The church cannot continue in their hypocritical way of worshipping God. We have sinned and must arise, acknowledged our sin, and repent. God is always ready to forgive our sins. The Lord says, “America arise, look at your sins, acknowledge, repent, and come back to me and I will forgive your sins” Money, pride, arrogance, name, societal position, family, or anything created by man cannot gain a place before God. God will relate when there is humility, brokeness and repentance. James 4:8Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” God is waiting for us to take a bold step and come to him in humility and surrender.”

Philippians 4:6-7Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

 God’s Word always gives me so much comfort when I spend time in it. The Word is always presented in a very genuine way so anyone who has doubt have the opportunity to rethink. Per the Word in Philippians 4:6-7 above, God knows we get anxious with situations in our lives. To calm our fears, the Word of God presents us with a solution; as you come to God do not be anxious about anything, relax and know that it’s a safe place to present everything including those that nobody knows. In the mist of the storms of life God always brings peace. Currently in the US there is a lot of fear of the unknown but we must choose to be confident that God is seated in the throne. We are therefore called to play our part which is pray to Him. He is the owner of peace and He can restore peace as the Word says.

  1. Avail yourself to pray for this nation. Tell the Lord to use you during this time in America Ezekiel 22:30 "I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found no one." We are to be those who stand in the gap, who lift up our nation with all it favors and faults before the throne of God, and pray that He continues to work in our midst.”

  2. Pray that people will respond to the call to pray in such a time as this. Carry out to the Lord and ask that He will spare His own and show mercy. Pray that ministers of the Gospel will answer the call to pray and gather the people to go back to God in repentance. Joel 2:16-17Gather all the people— the elders, the children, and even the babies. Call the bridegroom from his quarters and the bride from her private room. Let the priests, who minister in the LORD’s presence, stand and weep between the entry room to the Temple and the altar. Let them pray, “Spare your people, LORD! Don’t let your special possession become an object of mockery. Don’t let them become a joke for unbelieving foreigners who say, ‘Has the God of Israel left them?’”

  3. The land of America is covered with the sins listed here. Let us ask the Lord to have mercy. Malachi 3: 5So I will come to put you on trial. I will be quick to testify against sorcerers, adulterers and perjurers, against those who defraud laborers of their wages, who oppress the widows and the fatherless, and deprive the foreigners among you of justice, but do not fear me,” says the Lord Almighty.”

  4. Pray that the church in America will choose righteousness again. Proverbs 14:34Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.”

  5. Pray that the church in America will hear and obey the voice of God again. Exodus 19:5-6Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice and keep my covenant, you shall be my treasured possession among all peoples, for all the earth is mine; and you shall be to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. These are the words that you shall speak to the people of Israel.”

  6. Pray against all those false prophets who have been speaking from their imagination and lying that the Lord said, when the Lord did not say anything. Deuteronomy 18:20-22But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in my name that I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die.’ And if you say in your heart, ‘How may we know the word that the Lord has not spoken?’— when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word that the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You need not be afraid of him.”

  7. Pray for the Leader in the US. 1 Timothy 2:1-2 – “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.”

  8. Pray for wisdom and understanding for the new administration. Pray that God will expose every hidden agenda that does not align with His plan. Daniel 2:20-23Daniel answered and said: “Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, to whom belong wisdom and might. He changes times and seasons; he removes kings and sets up kings; he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding; he reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with him. To you, O God of my fathers, I give thanks and praise, for you have given me wisdom and might, and have now made known to me what we asked of you, for you have made known to us the king's matter.”

  9. Pray against all the things that God hates that is listed here. Proverbs 6:16-19There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.”

  10. Pray that God will arise and challenge the pride of America. Psalm 59:12For the sin of their mouths, the words of their lips, let them be trapped in their pride. For the cursing and lies that they utter.” Jeremiah 9:23Thus says the Lord: “Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty man boast in his might, let not the rich man boast in his riches”. Obadiah 1:3 “The pride of your heart has deceived you, you who live in the clefts of the rock, in your lofty dwelling, who say in your heart, “Who will bring me down to the ground?”.

  11. Pray that the rod of God will bring humility over America like King Nebuchadnezzar. Daniel 4:37Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, for all his works are right and his ways are just; and those who walk in pride he is able to humble.”

21-Day Prayer & Fasting: Day 12 – Our Children: The Burden in the Heart of God

For I have chosen him, that he may command his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing righteousness and justice, so that the Lord may bring to Abraham what he has promised him.
— Genesis 18:19
And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.
— Deuteronomy 6:6-7

How terrible it is today when we turn the TV, internet or within our communities, sometimes the same parents that are called to mentor our children in the way of the Lord are not even walking close to God. They are the same ones driving them away from the Lord with lifestyles that are contrary to God’s Word. The Lord who chose Abraham has chosen us as parents to bring our children in the way of the Lord. In the days of Samuel, his mother was in his life praying for the purpose of God to be fulfilled. In the days of Jesus, His parents were active in His life before His ministry. So many examples in the Bible. Parents have been commanded by God to take care of the children not only physically but spiritually. We must discipline, train, and teach the children in the way of the Lord and the secret weapon to assist in achieving this goal is prayer. We must pray them into their God given destinies especially more so in the world in which we leave today. The devil is more active than in time past. These children are the future of the church and if we care about God’s business on earth, then we must care about investing by prayers in the lives of our children.

Lamentations 2:11 &19My eyes fail from weeping; I am churning within. My heart is poured out in grief over the destruction of the daughter of my people, because children and infants faint in the streets of the city. Arise, cry out in the night, as the watches of the night begin; pour out your heart like water in the presence of the Lord. Lift up your hands to him for the lives of your children, who faint from hunger at every street corner.”

The passage above demonstrates the state of our children today, our eye must not fail in crying. We must arise now and pour our hearts before the Lord as never before on behavior of our children.  The Lord showed me a vision especially with the children between the ages of about 8-12 as I was resting and reflecting over this topic asking the Lord if this was really what he wanted us to focus on today (I will share my vision during our prayers tonight). Our prayers are needed, arise and carry this burden for the Lord.

When Peter addressed the crowd after the Pentecost, he made them aware that salvation, repentance, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit was not only for a few but for the children as well. Pray that our children will open their hearts and genuinely receive these gifts of salvation, repentance, and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit to do the work God is calling them to do in their generation.  Acts 2:38-39Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. This promise belongs to you and to your children and to all who are far off, to all whom the Lord our God will call to Himself."

David was a great man despite his failures. Pray and declare this prayer over our children that King David prayed for his son Solomon. Psalm 72:3-7 &15-17May the mountains bring prosperity to the people, the hills the fruit of righteousness. May he defend the afflicted among the people and save the children of the needy; may he crush the oppressor. May he endure as long as the sun, as long as the moon, through all generations. May he be like rain falling on a mown field, like showers watering the earth. In his days may the righteous flourish and prosperity abound till the moon is no more. Long may he live! May gold from Sheba be given him. May people ever pray for him and bless him all day long. May grain abound throughout the land; on the tops of the hills may it sway. May the crops flourish like Lebanon and thrive like the grass of the field. May his name endure forever; may it continue as long as the sun.

  1. Pray that God will indeed sharpen our children spiritually and physically as he blesses and used them as arrows at the gates of our enemies. Psalm 127:3-5Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one's youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.”

  2. Pray that our children will be surrounded by the outpouring love of God in every aspect and steps of their lives. Psalm 42:8Yet the LORD will command his lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life.”

  3. Pray that as parents we will not be a hinderance to them coming to the Lord and as they come may their ears be opened to hear the Lord as he teaches them his ways. Mark 10:13-16And they were bringing children to him that he might touch them, and the disciples rebuked them. But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” And he took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them.” Isaiah 54:13All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children.”

  4. Declare this word over the lives of our children, as it was in the days of John the Baptism, so shall it be for our children. Luke 1:76-79And you, my child, will be called a prophet of the Most High; for you will go on before the Lord to prepare the way for him, to give his people the knowledge of salvation through the forgiveness of their sins, because of the tender mercy of our God,    by which the rising sun will come to us from heaven to shine on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the path of peace.”

  5. In the days when Eli’s children were wayward, and the word of God was rare. God was nourishing Samuel and John the Baptism. Pray that God will create in our children the Samuels and John the Baptists of their generation. Pray that our children will grow in stature, favor, and strong spiritually in the knowledge of God. 1Samuel 2:26And the boy Samuel continued to grow in stature and in favor with the LORD and with people.” Luke 1:80And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of his shewing unto Israel.”

  6. Arise and decree and declare that our children will come running into the presence of God. They will serve God with passion in such a way that they will be known around the nations and God will be gloried. Isaiah 49:17-18Your children hasten back, and those who laid you waste depart from you. 18 Lift up your eyes and look around; all your children gather and come to you. As surely as I live,” declares the Lord, “you will wear them all as ornaments; you will put them on, like a bride.” Isaiah 29:24Then the wayward in spirit will come to understanding, and those who grumble will accept instruction."

  7. Pray that God will perforate their ears so they can hear and trust what parents say to them. Proverbs 1:8-9Hear, my son, your father's instruction, and forsake not your mother's teaching, for they are a graceful garland for your head and pendants for your neck.”

  8. Pray that our children will never wonder away from the true gospel they have been thought, learned and believed in. 2 Timothy 3:14-15But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.”

  9. Pray that our children will walk in obedience in every step of their lives. Ephesians 6:1-3Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. “Honor your father and mother” (this is the first commandment with a promise), “that it may go well with you and that you may live long in the land.”

  10. Pray that our children greatly impact their generation, like the apostles of old, they will do exploits for the kingdom of God and His glory. Matthew 21:15-16But when the chief priests and the scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying out in the temple, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” they were indignant, and they said to him, “Do you hear what these are saying?” And Jesus said to them, “Yes; have you never read, “‘Out of the mouth of infants and nursing babies you have prepared praise’?”

  11. It does not matter whether or not you are struggling with your children now, declare that they are a good gift from the Lord. James 1:17Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.”

  12. Pray that our children will be bold enough to declare their faith and be examples in walking a holy walk in this time and age. 1 Timothy 4:12Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.”

  13. Declare that our children are consecrated and set apart for great things, appointed for the work of the Lord. Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”

  14. Release a parental blessing over them as the spirit of God leads you. Numbers 6:24-26The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.”

21-Day Prayer & Fasting: Day 11 - Ask the Lord for the Nations as a Heritage

Why Intercede?

God likes fellowship with man and He is always looking toward a time of fellowship with His creation.  Psalm 22:27-28 “All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations shall worship before you.  For kingship belongs to the Lord, and he rules over the nations.”

We pray because we are the light of the nations and it is only through our light that God’s salvation can reach the nations. Isaiah 49:6 He says: “It is too light a thing that you should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob and to bring back the preserved of Israel; I will make you as a light for the nations, that my salvation may reach to the end of the earth.”

Also, when nations know God, they will reference Him and therefore will be blessed. Psalm 33:12Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage.”

Finally, we pray because the written Word of God must come to pass. Mr. Counterfeit will not just sit and watch us have a free pass. He fights and we must fight him in prayers and the Word to possess that which is ours. Revelation 7:9After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands.”

Psalm 2: 1- 11Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against his Anointed, saying, “Let us burst their bonds apart and cast away their cords from us.” He who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord holds them in derision. Then he will speak to them in his wrath, and terrify them in his fury, saying, “As for me, I have set my King on Zion, my holy hill.” I will tell of the decree: The Lord said to me, “You are my Son; today I have begotten you. Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage, and the ends of the earth your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron and dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.” Now therefore, O kings, be wise; be warned, O rulers of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear and rejoice with trembling.”

There is so much rage, wickedness, anger, evil, hate, and self-centeredness around the world today. The nations of the world are against each other. One thing is certain, God’s love has not been distributed by the church, has been misused in some aspects, and equally has not been acknowledged and has been rejected in other parts. John 3:16For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” God has loved us from creation and demonstrated that love by sending His Son into the sinful world. The world has rejected that love and thus is walking under condemnation. John 3:18Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe has already been condemned, because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.” It is our duty as intercessor to stand in the gap for the nations and plead with God for mercy while at the same time interceding that the nations will open their door for the gospel. As intercessors we do not want the blood of the nations to be a stain on our hands. We have been called to pray and now is the time.

  1. Pray for mercy, salvation and deliverance over the nations. God is not and has never been interested in the death of a sinner. However, according to Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” So we must pray that nations will open up and receive salvation because according Isaiah 60:12 “For the nation or kingdom that will not serve you will perish; it will be utterly destroyed.” Ezekiel 33:11Say to them, As I live, declares the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live; turn back, turn back from your evil ways, for why will you die, O house of Israel?”

  2. Ask the Lord for a particular nation so you will stand on and continue to pray for this nation that none of them will be lost: (CHOOSE A NATION OR REGION. WE WILL FOCUS ON THIS IN 2021). John 6:39And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that I shall lose none of those He has given Me but raise them up at the last day.” Psalm 2:8Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage, and the ends of the earth your possession.” There are people that God is waiting for someone to pull them out of the fire or pit of the enemy for Him to use for His glory. He is waiting for a Jonah.  Jonah 4:11And should not I pity Nineveh, that great city, in which there are more than 120,000 persons who do not know their right hand from their left, and also much cattle?”

  3. Stand on this living and active Word of God and declare that every nation under the sound of your voice will begin to open up and accept the Word of God. Hebrews 4:12For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it pierces even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow. It judges the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”

  4.  Pray that the wrath of God will descend upon those ungodly places and altars in the nations.  Romans 1:18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth.”

  5. Stand on this word to declare the love of the Father over the nations of the earth. There are nations that do not believe that God cares or love them, so why bother. They may be affected by so many calamities. As the Holy Spirit leads, please call on the names of nations and release the Father’s love unto to them. John 3:16-17For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.”

  6. There are some nations who have rejected God; Cry out for the mercy of God on behave of these nations. Isaiah 58:1Cry aloud; do not hold back; lift up your voice like a trumpet; declare to my people their transgression, to the house of Jacob their sins.” Jeremiah 12:17But if they will not obey, then I will uproot that nation; I will uproot it and destroy it," declares the LORD.”

  7. There are nations who know the truth but have chosen to sin against the Lord. Cry for mercy and ask the Lord to forgive. Call on these nations to return to the table of mercy. Joel 2:13And rend your hearts and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love; and He relents over disaster.”

  8. Stand on God’s Word and declare that His plan for the nations will come to pass. The earth will be filled with His glory. Jeremiah 29:11For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Psalm 72:19Blessed be his glorious name forever; may the whole earth be filled with his glory! Amen and Amen!”

  9. Pray that the fear of the Lord shall grip the nations of the earth. If they fear God, righteousness shall reign and violence will be no more. Isaiah 59:19So they shall fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun; for he will come like a rushing stream, which the wind of the Lord drives.”

  10. Pray that God be exalted in the nations. Psalm 46:10Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations; I will be exalted in the earth!” Haggai 2:7And I will shake all nations, so that the treasures of all nations shall come in, and I will fill this house with glory, says the Lord of hosts”.

  11.  Declare this word over the nations. Revelation 7:9After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands.”

21-Day Prayer & Fasting: Day 10 - Taking a Stand to Transform Spiritual Life

Jabez was more honorable than his brothers. His mother had named him Jabez, saying, “I gave birth to him in pain.” Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request.
— 1 Chronicle 4: 9- 10

From the womb Jabez was an honored child with the hand of God over his life. However, at the time of birth, Mr. Counterfeit, Satan the liar, the father of all lies, defeated foe, cheater, deceiver, thief, destroyer, killer, accuser etc. showed up and told his mother a lie. “Because you had pain during this child’s delivery, just call him pain to identify with the problem. “This name had nothing to do with this child, it was not his fault that the mother had pain during delivery. When Jabez came to know the problem that surrounded his name, he did not blame his mother, of course she would not purposefully hurt her child. He rather took matters into his hands and went before the courts of heaven where every problem under the surface of the earth is addressed. He had to decide what was good for him. Stay with the pain all his life and maintain the name “PAIN” or address the problem. He made it all about him. The Bible did not say he went to look for a man of God to pray for him. He went straight to the throne room and cried out to God. Jabez knew that he was blessed and so he refused to settled with pain. He knew that was not God’s plan for his life.  God promises a future of hope and expectation. He had to take back his blessings. Ephesians 1:3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms.” He presented his request and cried out to the Lord asking for three things that we all need in life.

  1. Release this blessing as stated in Ephesians 1:3 above. All our blessings are found in Christ Jesus and if we are found wanting, we cannot collect the blessing and will miss out. Jabez had to pray this first because every other request was dependent upon this one. This breakthrough was the main key to all other ones. The gift of salvation is a package and we cannot open the package and decides which to take or throw.  We have been “BLESSED IN CHRIST”

  2. Enlarge my territory. According to Proverb 10:22The blessing of the LORD brings wealth, without painful toil for it.” Jazeb knew that when God blesses it’s always a double portion, so if he is asking for a blessing and he knows he will get it. This is his opportunity to add to his list. He said enlarge my territory because God’s blessings open the door for a river of blessing. I am not sure what area of your life you are struggling with.  It may be your prayer life, ministry etc. Ask the Lord to expand that today as he did for Jabez.  Isaiah 54:2-5Enlarge the site of your tent, stretch out the curtains of your dwellings, do not hold back. Lengthen your ropes and drive your stakes in deep. For you will spread out to the right and left; your descendants will dispossess the nations and inhabit the desolate cities. Do not be afraid, for you will not be put to shame; do not be intimidated, for you will not be humiliated. For you will forget the shame of your youth and will remember no more the reproach of your widowhood. For your husband is your Maker—the LORD of Hosts is His name—the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; He is called the God of all the earth”.  The Lord says move out of that comfort place of pain, sorrow, shame, disgrace, isolation into a new grace, new oil, new anointing, explore the new territory. He is the one blessing you according to Deuteronomy 8:18 “But remember that it is the LORD your God who gives you the power to gain wealth, in order to confirm His covenant that He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.”  He says sow and you shall reap according to Genesis 26:12Now Isaac sowed seed in the land, and in that very year he reaped a hundredfold. And the LORD blessed him.”

  3. Let you hand be with me. When the hand of God is upon a man, what else will that man lack?  Psalm 80:17Let your hand rest on the man at your right hand, the son of man you have raised up for yourself.” 1 Peter 5:6Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you.” Isaiah 48:13My hand laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand spread out the heavens; when I call to them, they stand forth together.” Exodus 15:6Your right hand, O Lord, glorious in power, your right hand, O Lord, shatters the enemy.”

  4. Keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain. Jabez asked for protection. The only place of protection is the presence of the Lord and we can only acquire it by making his presence our home. Psalm 91: 1-2Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” (Reflect on the entire Psalm 91).

  5. The devil knows what God has in store for us and he will do his best all the time to ensure that we do not get our blessing. The devil encourages laziness in studying the word of God or pray and misrepresents the word of God. Did God really say? If Jazeb did not allow his pain to define his life but he turned his attention to the Lord, why should we? Do you have personal problems that you have been trying God for? Stand like Jabez. Are you in that place of regret? Even if you don’t like it you can change it and lay a different kind of generation after you. You cannot be unhappy with your situation and every day of your life is unhappy, sad, mad, depressed, shamed, etc. It may have happened so that God will be glorified. Instead of grumbling why not pray like Jabez? Ask the Lord to change your testimony as he did for Jabez. Pray against every strategy of the evil one.

  6. Genesis 32:22-31That night Jacob got up and took his two wives, his two female servants and his eleven sons and crossed the ford of the Jabbok. After he had sent them across the stream, he sent over all his possessions. So Jacob was left alone, and a man wrestled with him till daybreak. When the man saw that he could not overpower him, he touched the socket of Jacob’s hip so that his hip was wrenched as he wrestled with the man. Then the man said, “Let me go, for it is daybreak.” But Jacob replied, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.” The man asked him, “What is your name?” “Jacob,” he answered. Then the man said, “Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel, because you have struggled with God and with humans and have overcome.” Jacob said, “Please tell me your name.” But he replied, “Why do you ask my name?” Then he blessed him there.  So, Jacob called the place Peniel, saying, “It is because I saw God face to face, and yet my life was spared. “The sun rose above him as he passed Peniel, and he was limping because of his hip.” Jacob wrestled with God and his life was changed forever. Cry onto the Lord; I will not let you go until you bless me. Ask the Lord to transform your life as the life of Jacob; changed from deceiver to a nation.

  7. Isaiah 14:1 For the LORD will have compassion on Jacob and choose Israel once again. He will settle them on their own land. The foreigner will join them and be united with the house of Jacob.” Ask the Lord to have compassion over you and settle you in your own land.

  8. Judges 16: 27-28Now the temple was full of men and women; all the lords of the Philistines were there, and about three thousand men and women were on the roof watching Samson entertain them. Then Samson called out to the LORD: “O Lord GOD, please remember me. Strengthen me, O God, just once more, so that with one vengeful blow I may pay back the Philistines for my two eyes.” Have you come to that place of spiritual weakness? Ask the Lord to strengthen you one more time so you can finish the work he has called you into.

  9. John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” Declare the word of God on your family, church, and community. Challenge any attempt of the devil to steal anything that belongs to you. Declare life in every aspect of your life.

21-Day Prayer & Fasting: Day 9 – Hold Fast unto Your Faith

Therefore, brothers since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus, by the new and living way that he opened for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.
— Hebrews 10: 19-23
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
— Hebrew 11: 6

There have been times when I have gone through some challenges in life and come to a place where I felt it was the end of the road, so why bother or pray?  Sometimes I don’t think I have any more strength to keep pushing on in prayer. In such moments, I get to the state of spiritual weakness and sometimes I feel like I must have done something wrong for God not to have heard my cry. Sometimes I feel cheated, defeated, betrayed, cast down, beaten, wounded, worthless or shamed, not even wanting to look at any one in the eye. I know many of you have been there at some point in life. I came to realize that it’s not the way we feel or think that moves God. God is the creator of the universe, He remains seated on the throne ruling over the entire earth. He is God regardless of our thinking or feeling. He rules in power and authority. Who can tell Him what to do? Who knows His next move? When I review Hebrew 10: 19-23 above, I see that coming to God calls for a level of confidence, affirming in our hearts that He is true and He is who He says He is. We come by the blood of Jesus Christ which cleanses us from everything that is not welcomed in His presence. We come into this throne in full confidence and truth knowing that whatever He says is true and whatever He promises will come to pass. If we know this as truth, then we will have the confidence and strength to hold on to His promises by faith knowing that the promises will come to pass. We do not look at our problems from a human perspective. Our reasoning should never be aligned with the way the world operates or define things. Our living is by faith only in God and this same God who promises is faithful. We do not look at our situation or focus on them but we look on to Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. When Peter focused on Jesus, he was able to walk on the water but when he looked down, he began to sink.  Without faith we cannot please God. We look to Him for breakthroughs now.

2 Thessalonians 2:14-15He called you to this through our gospel, that you might share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. So then, brothers and sisters, stand firm and hold fast to the teachings we passed on to you, whether by word of mouth or by letter.” We are called into this mystery of faith through the word of God and we must hear, medicate, and hold unto this Word so dearly and walk in it. Our whole life depends on it and nothing more. For according to Hebrews 3:6But Christ is faithful as the Son over God's house. And we are His house, if we hold firmly to our confidence and the hope of which we boast.” There is really nothing more, we are His house only on one condition. “HOLD FIRMLY TO HIS WORD BY WHICH YOU CAN MAKE YOUR BOAST”. The enemy cannot challenge this Word of truth.

  • Pray that the Lord will grant you the grace to hold onto your faith in Him, your hope and His promises and not exchange it for anything irrespective of what it is. We serve a faithful God.  

Jeremiah 15:20Then I will make you a wall to this people, a fortified wall of bronze; they will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you to save you and deliver you. declares the LORD.”

  • Pray that the Lord will make you into a fortified wall of bronze, no devil can overpower a wall that God has built.  

James 2:23And the Scripture was fulfilled that says, "Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness," and he was called a friend of God.” Whatever you have been trusting God for arise and begin to call it to come to past over your life in Jesus mighty. When the Israelites came to the place of the red sea, they saw in front the sea and behind the Egyptians and they were caught up in the middle. I can imagine what was going on in their minds. Soon the word of the Lord came froth. Exodus 14: 13Moses answered the people, "Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again.”

  • Pray that the Lord will arise and deliver you from any red sea before you or Egyptians pursuing you to your land of promise. Pray against those roadblocks that have been standing before your journey, declare that you will not see them anymore as you move forward in ending 2020 and entering 2021.

Daniel 3: 15b-18But if you refuse to worship, you will be thrown at once into the blazing fiery furnace. Then what god will be able to deliver you from my hands?” Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego replied to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. If the God whom we serve exists, then He is able to deliver us from the blazing fiery furnace and from your hand, O king. But even if He does not, let it be known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden statue you have set up.”

  • These three Hebrew boys stood by what I will call an unshakable faith in the midst of trouble and they said “even if the Lord will not deliver, they WILL NOT BOW to King Nebuchadnezzar’s god. The king asked the guards to increase the heat in the fire, but to their surprise when they were thrown in there, the men who threw them were burned and the Lord send His angel and delivered His people. He has not changed, call on this same God to arise and deliver you from whatever. Oh, that you will not comprise your relationship with God because your life is at a crossroad.

Genesis 15: 1-3After these events, the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision: "Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your very great reward." But Abram said, “Sovereign Lord, what can you give me since I remain childless and the one who will inherit my estate is Eliezer of Damascus?” And Abram said, “You have given me no children; so a servant in my household will be my heir.”

  • Have you come to a place where you feel exposed, threaten by the enemy, defeated, shamed and people are looking at you wondering what happened to you? Abram was there before but the Lord showed up. He has not change. Arise and cry, ask the Lord for a divine intervention.  

Titus 1:9He must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it was taught, so that by sound teaching he will be able to encourage others and refute those who contradict this message.”

  •  When you are able to stand in firm, it gives you the strength and boldness to encourage another person with the same message: Ask the Lord for help

2 Kings 6:16 "Do not be afraid," Elisha answered, "for those who are with us are more than those who are with them." 2 Chronicles 20: 15 &17And he said, "Listen, all you people of Judah and Jerusalem! Listen, King Jehoshaphat! This is what the LORD says: 'Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army, for the battle does not belong to you, but to God. “You need not fight this battle. Take up your positions, stand firm, and see the salvation of the LORD on your behalf, O Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid or discouraged. Go out and face them tomorrow, for the LORD is with you.'"

  • Have you come to that place where on every side you feel the enemy has surrounded you and there is no escape?  Are you afraid of the unknown? Call on the Lord, the battle belongs to Him. By faith we must declare our victory.

Daniel 6:16, 20, 23So the king gave the order, and they brought Daniel and threw him into the den of lions. The king said to Daniel, "May your God, whom you serve continually, deliver you!" When he reached the den, he cried out in a voice of anguish, "O Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to deliver you from the lions?" The king was overjoyed and gave orders to lift Daniel out of the den, and when Daniel was lifted out of the den, no wounds whatsoever were found on him, because he had trusted in his God.”

  • Has the enemy placed you in his den and tell you, I will see how you will get out? The enemy may even be laughing and saying this is exactly what we wanted. Arise call on the God in the lion’s den. He is still the Lord who delivers even in the den of lions.

Job 2: 9His wife said to him, “Are you still maintaining your integrity? Curse God and die!” Job 36:15But those who suffer he delivers in their suffering; he speaks to them in their afflictionJob 42:10And the Lord restored the fortunes of Job, when he had prayed for his friends. And the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.” Job’s wife had looked at the husband and was at the point of letting go but Job was not. He stood on the word of God believing that God will deliver him. God indeed restored all even more than he had ever had.

  •  Pray that God will restore every aspect of anything that concerns your life, family, job and ministry ever if you have lost all. He did it for Job and he has not changed.

21-Day Prayer & Fasting: Day 8 – The Cry of the Innocent Blood

Genesis 4:10-11The LORD said, "What have you done? Listen! Your brother's blood cries out to me from the ground. Now you are cursed and banished from the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.” This question is still being asked today. What have you done? The blood is still crying in the Land. Everyday around the world an estimate of about 400,000 people die from homicide, hunger, and currently COVID-19.  What about the blood of the innocent babies? What about in the war-torn zones? Those being killed because of their faith in Christ. If you want to put a number to the innocent blood that have been shed in the nations of the earth, I think it will be enough to create other nations. I wonder if we ever reflect on these bloodsheds and the effects it has on the people and the land. Psalm 139:13-16For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.”

God is the creator of mankind and He is the only one with the right to take away life. In the world today, due to the evil in the nations of the earth, the enemy has been on a mission to drink innocent blood from the lives created by God. In the nations of the earth, there are lots of road accidents, gun violence, other kinds of harm; physical harm resulting to injuries and death, demonic killers, death from unknown and sometimes strange health issues etc. According to Numbers 35:33You shall not pollute the land in which you live, for blood pollutes the land, and no atonement can be made for the land for the blood that is shed in it, except by the blood of the one who shed it.” Blood pollutes the land and therefore if its polluted, it cannot bring a blessing at that same time. Thus, we see lots of strange things happening in our communities.

  1. We have broken the command of the Lord so we must arise and cry for mercy. Jeremiah 22:3This is what the LORD says: Administer justice and righteousness. Rescue the victim of robbery from the hand of his oppressor. Do no wrong or violence to the foreigner, the fatherless, or the widow. Do not shed innocent blood in this place.”

  2. Innocent bloodshed brings a curse upon a city. Jeremiah 26:15Only know for certain that if you put me to death, you will bring innocent blood upon yourselves and upon this city and its inhabitants, for in truth the Lord sent me to you to speak all these words in your ears.”

  3. Although the blood of Abel brought a curse upon the earth, we must sprinkle the covenant blood of Jesus over our land, homes, communities and ask that it speaks the blessing of God. Hebrews 12:24to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.”

  4. We must arise and declare that we hate what the Lord hates; the hand that is shedding innocent blood. Proverbs 6:16-19There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.”

  5. Pray that any innocent blood that has been shed in the place or land of you inheritance/ blessing, the blood of Jesus will arise and nullify. Deuteronomy 19:10Lest innocent blood be shed in your land that the Lord your God is giving you for an inheritance, and so the guilt of bloodshed be upon you.”

  6. We must purge the innocent blood in our families, church and communities and it is only through the blood of Jesus Christ. Deuteronomy 19:13Your eye shall not pity him, but you shall purge the guilt of innocent blood from Israel, so that it may be well with you.”

  7. Pray against and call on the fire of God upon this wickedness of the earth where the wicked run to commit evil. Isaiah 59:7-8Their feet run to evil, and they are swift to shed innocent blood; their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; desolation and destruction are in their highways. The way of peace they do not know, and there is no justice in their paths; they have made their roads crooked; no one who treads on them knows peace.”

  8. We must declare the wrath of God upon these evil minds. Micah 2:1Woe to those who plan iniquity, to those who plot evil on their beds! At morning's light they carry it out because it is in their power to do it.”

  9. Pray that the blood of Jesus will cleanse us and the entire land of all the evil humans sacrifices that have been offered. Psalm 106:38They poured out innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was polluted with blood.”

  10. Pray that the blood of Jesus will cleanse us from every curse in the land caused by secret killings. Deuteronomy 27:24Cursed be anyone who strikes down his neighbor in secret.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.”

  11. Innocent blood provokes God to anger. 2 Kings 21:6And he burned his son as an offering and used fortune-telling and omens and dealt with mediums and with necromancers. He did much evil in the sight of the Lord, provoking him to anger.”

  12. We must as believers pour out the blood of Jesus onto our land to purge out the innocent blood. Matthew 26:28For this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.”

  13.  Pray that the Blood of Jesus will arise and purify us. Hebrews 9:14How much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from dead works to serve the living God.”

  14.  We must drink the blood of Jesus to purify us from every affiliated, known or unknown participation in shedding innocent blood. Matthew 26:27-28And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he gave it to them, saying, “Drink of it, all of you, for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.”

  15. The enemy is holding some because of the claims of innocent blood but we have the power to overcome by the Blood of Jesus declaring that it has set us free. Revelation 12:11And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.”

  16. Even if it was innocent blood shed by our forefathers, the blood of Jesus is able to wash us clean. 1 Peter 1:18-19 Knowing that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot.”

  17. We have to come to Him in confidence through the blood of Jesus and nothing else. On our journey into the presence of the Lord, we pass through the blood of Jesus into the holy place, and we are bath and cleansed from any stains. Hebrews 10:19Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus.”

  18. We can only make peace with God through the blood of his son. Colossians 1:20And through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.”

  19. Apply the blood over your homes. Exodus 12:13The blood shall be a sign for you, on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and no plague will befall you to destroy you, when I strike the land of Egypt.”

  20. As you drink the blood of Jesus, speak life over every aspect of your life. John 6:53So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.”

2020 Prayer & Fasting: Day 7 – Awake Oh Sleeping Church!

He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep”. If God stays awake to keep his promise why can’t the church stay awake for few minutes with him?  Proverbs 6:9 “How long will you lie there, O sluggard? When will you arise from your sleep?
— Psalm 121:3-4

Romans 13:11And do this, understanding the occasion. The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber, for our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.” The church is at a standstill, dry, empty, and there is no water, (the word of God) to water the thirsty souls of men. The Lord says in this season arise and prophesy to the dry church, where there is no concern for righteousness. The word of God in Ezekiel 37: 3-5 “Then He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones come to life?” “O Lord GOD,” I replied, “only You know.” And He said to me, “Prophesy concerning these bones and tell them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! This is what the Lord GOD says to these bones: I will cause breath to enter you, and you will come to life”. As intercessors, we must arise NOW and prophesy unto the church. God did not prophesy but with the power of His word in us, He has given us the authority to prophesy unto His church until His word in Revelation 21:2 come to pass. “I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.” It is time for the church to wake up from slumber. The world has no direction, yet the church carrying the light is not able to lead because it is made up of dry bones. No wonder one can hear the church spreading lies and misleading people in the hour when the church is supposed to be giving direction to the people of the earth. The Lord says wake up from sleep and speak the Word He has put in you. Call on His name! He is still seated on the throne waiting for the church. If the apostles of old had slept, the foundation they laid for the current generation would have had issues. Yet the Bible says in John 14: 12Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever believes in Me will also do the works that I am doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.” The Apostles did theirs, what about us today? Where are the miracles today that we read in the Bible?

  1.  The church is sleeping because we have abandoned our first love and we are now in love with the world. Arise and call on the church from the four corners of the earth to return back. Revelation 2:4-5But I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the works you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent.”

  2. The church has slept with the prophetic message which is the reliable Word of God for the dying and dark world. Pray that the church will arise from its slumber and get back to work, declaring the word of God which will shine away the darkness and bring life to the world again.  2 Peter 1: 19-20We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things.”

  3. The Apostle on the day of Pentecost received power that empowered and changed them and they were able to change the world from coast to coast. Pray for change of heart and devotion to this call of the church. Pray for unity in the church. Acts 2:1-4When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.”

  4.  The Apostles spent time in prayer and the Word and the power of the Holy Spirit visited them. Pray that the church will go back to the foundation left by these people in the Bible. We cannot expect a visitation without paying. During their regular prayer meetings, the whole place was shaken. Cry out for this hunger to pray in the church again. Acts 1:14All these with one accord were devoting themselves to prayer, together with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and his brothers”. Acts 4:31 “And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.”

  5. Cry out that the ministers of the gospel must arise in this dark hour and take up their rod so that the living waters may flow again over the church. Numbers 20:8 "Take the staff, and you and your brother Aaron gather the assembly together. Speak to that rock before their eyes and it will pour out its water. You will bring water out of the rock for the community so they and their livestock can drink."

  6. Jesus is still calling on the church to arise and pray with Him just for one hour. The burden for souls is too much. Ask the Lord for strength. I am afraid the temptation has already entered the church, if not where are the prayers? Mathew 26: 39- 41Going a little farther, He fell facedown and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me. Yet not as I will, but as You will.” Then Jesus returned to the disciples and found them sleeping. “Were you not able to keep watch with Me for one hour? He asked Peter. “Watch and pray so that you will not enter into temptation.”

  7. Pray that the church will arise from the ashes and cloth itself with the garment of righteousness again. Isaiah 52:1-2Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean. 2Shake off your dust! Rise up and sit on your throne, O Jerusalem. Remove the chains from your neck, O captive Daughter of Zion.”

  8. Ask the Lord to take us to that place where we become so burden with His plan that sleep will run away from us. Daniel 6:18Then the king went to his palace and spent the night fasting; no diversions were brought to him, and sleep fled from him.”

  9. Pray that the church will get the revelation like the psalmist to declare no sleep until the Lord transforms His church, our families, friends, neighbors, nations etc. Psalm 132:4-5I will not give sleep to my eyes or slumber to my eyelids, until I find a place for the Lord, a dwelling place for the Mighty One of Jacob.”

  10.  We must arise and return to the way of holiness. Isaiah 35:8And there will be a highway called the Way of Holiness. The unclean will not travel it, only those who walk in that Way--and fools will not stray onto it.”

  11. The Word of the Lord is truth and must be declared for it to come to pass upon the earth. Isaiah 45:23By Myself I have sworn; truth has gone out from My mouth, a word that will not be revoked: Every knee will bow before Me, every tongue will confess allegiance.”

  12. Pray that the church will arise and hate sleep. Sleep has brought spiritual poverty over the church. Proverbs 20:13Love not sleep, lest you come to poverty; open your eyes, and you will have plenty of bread.” Proverbs 6:10-11A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest, and poverty will come upon you like a robber, and want like an armed man.”

  13. Oh, church we have been given the power to declare life back into the church. Lazarus (the Church) is dead (John 11:14) but Jesus is here (Note: “Not was here”). The resurrection and the Life. John 11:25Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life”. Pray that Jesus the light may shine forth yet again: Ephesians 5:14 “So it is said: "Wake up, O sleeper, rise up from the dead, and Christ will shine on you."

  14. Call on the church to arise with its spiritual eyes open to see the light in the mist of the darkness that has covered the earth. The church has the light and it’s time to let it shine. Isaiah 60:1-2Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.2For behold, darkness covers the earth, and thick darkness is over the peoples; but the LORD will rise upon you, and His glory will appear over you.”

  15. Arise, challenge the spirit of the enemy of destruction and stealing over the church and declare life unto the church. Jesus did not die in vain. Luke 15:24For this son of mine was dead and is alive again! He was lost and is found!' So they began to celebrate.” John 10:10The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life and have it to the full.”

  16. Call unto the fire of God to arise and scatter all the demonic altars of sleep and slumber in the house of the Lord. Jeremiah 43:12 I will kindle a fire in the temples of the gods of Egypt, and he will burn those temples and take their gods as captives. So he will wrap himself with the land of Egypt as a shepherd wraps himself in his garment, and he will depart from there unscathed.”

21-Prayer & Fasting: Day 6 – God’s Heart Cry for the Lost- SALVATION

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
— Ephesians 2:8-9
He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit.
— Titus 3:5

We have been saved by grace and not by merit. Someone prayed for us. As I reflect on how I was saved, I am always in awe of the goodness of the Lord. A free salvation that money cannot buy. Just in case money could have brought it, I came from the poorest of the poor; I would not have been on the line for decades to afford my salvation. Thus, hell would have been my portion if that was the option. I thank the Lord for salvation but my heart breaks for the unsaved souls, rich or poor, young or old in the world; these are our families, friends, coworkers, neighbors, church members etc. What is the church doing?  In the world today there are so many rich people who have made name. A few are Jeff Bezos, $140 billion; Bill Gates, $92 billion; Warren Buffett, $85 billion; Amancio Ortega, $78 billion; Mark Zuckerberg, $73 billion. These riches have no place in heaven. If a rich man dies today, he/she will go without even a cent and worse of it to hell if they have no Jesus. From dust a man came and unto dust a man returns. Only that upon return he gives an account of his life to his Maker-God. Genesis 3:19 says “by the sweat of your face you shall eat bread, till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for you are dust, and to dust you shall return.”  What do you think will be the story of that neighbor of yours who clearly states they hate God, yet you listen to them without crying to God? Those unbelievers you drive on top of them on your way to church every Sunday. There is joy in heaven over that one sinner who repents.  All we’ve earned on earth has no place in God’s kingdom. On the judgement day, what will matter are souls that are entering heaven or hell, nothing about wealth, name or any earthy thing. Mark 8:36 says “What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?” How can God ever forgive the church for not snatching souls out of the fire of hell? How can Jesus ever forgive the intercessor for not praying for sinners to be saved? As I write even now, there are many souls entering hell, many are being won over by the deception of Satan. It is time for the church to arise and challenge the gates of hell to let go the people held captive. For Proverbs 11:30 says “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and the one who wins people is wise.” God loves a believer who is a soul winner.

  1. Pray that the burden of the lost will be your portion so that you do whatever you can in you power to commit to this mission like Apostle Paul. 1 Corinthians 9:19Though I am free of obligation to anyone, I make myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible.”

  2. Pray that God will give you the boldness to be a true witness and soul winner for Him and not be ashamed of this great life transforming Gospel. Romans 1:16For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.”

  3. No one can indeed call upon a name they have no understanding of. Pray and surrender yourself and ask the Lord to make you into a soul winner for His kingdom. The deliverance of the lost is in the hands of the intercessor. Deliverance comes only when we show up in prayers upon Mt Zion. Romans 10: 13- 14for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How then can they call on the One in whom they have not believed? And how can they believe in the One of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone to preach?” Joel 2:32And everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved; for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance, as the LORD promised, among the remnant called by the LORD.”

  4. The church must pray in faith and not sight for the salvation of souls. We must believe that God will save his people and pray accordingly. James 5:15And the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick. The Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven.”

  5. Pray that the divine power of God through the out pour of the Holy Spirit will visit the church again and stir us to go out for the soul winning mission. Acts 1:8But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Acts 4:33 “With great power, the apostles continued to give their testimony about the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And abundant grace was upon them all.”

  6. Pray that the power of God will be evident through us so that the souls that are perishing can see and ask what must they do to be saved? Acts 16:30-33Then he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.” And they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house. And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their wounds; and he was baptized at once, he and all his family.

  7.  Pray that the church will be passionate again for its mission of soul winning like the church in the Acts of the Apostles. Matthew 28:19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.”

  8. In the world we have different types of people needing different strategies to assist in bringing them to the Father.  Pray for the guidance of the Holy Spirit on how the church should go about winning souls. Jude 1: 22-24And indeed, have mercy on those who doubt; save others by snatching them from the fire; and to still others show mercy tempered with fear, hating even the clothing stained by the flesh. Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you unblemished in His glorious presence, with great joy.”

  9. Arise Church and stand with the Lord today and join Him to challenge Satan to let go that soul on your street, in your family, your church, your nation etc. Zechariah 3:2And the LORD said to Satan: "The LORD rebukes you, Satan! Indeed, the LORD, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebukes you! Is not this man a firebrand snatched from the fire?"

  10. We must bring our testimony to the lost so they will believe that the Gospel is the truth and not fake. Pray that God will give you a testimony of His power so you can use to win souls for His kingdom. Acts 10:43All the prophets testify about Him that everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins through His name."

  11. Pray that the church will walk in the love of the Father so that the world will be convinced that God truly loves them and want them to be saved. John 3:16-17For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.”

  12. Pray that God the Father through the Holy Spirit will draw souls to Jesus. John 6:44No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day.”

  13. Pray for those who are walking in deception that they may come to the realization that they cannot be saved by another means. John 14:6Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” Acts 4:12. “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”

  14. Pray that people across the nations will let go their moral filth and evil ways and surrender to Jesus. James 1:21Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and every expression of evil, and humbly receive the word planted in you, which can save your souls.”

  15. Pray for the revelation of the Word of God to the Lost. Pray that God will open their ears to hear His word and believe in Him. John 3:5Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.” John 5:24Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.”

  16.  Declare the victory of Calvary over every soul held in bandage. Ask the Lord to set them free. He says ask in my name and I will do it. John 8: 36So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed”. Colossians 2:15 “And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.”

  17. Pray that the desire for the great commission will consume the hearts of believers again. Matthew 28:18-20Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

  18. Pray for all the prodigal sons/daughters who have wondered away from the truth. James 5:19-20My brothers, if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring him back, consider this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save his soul from death and cover over a multitude of sins.”

21-Day Fasting & Prayer: Day 5 – Pray for the Persecuted Believers

Remember the word that I said to you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will also keep yours.
— John 15:20
Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice insofar as you share Christ’s sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed. If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you.
— 1 Peter 4:12-14
But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that his life may also be revealed in our mortal body. So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you.
— 2 Corinthians 4:7-12

Humans being have rights and even the right of religion, but this right has been threatened since the days of old in the Bible like the apostles; Acts 14:19But Jews came from Antioch and Iconium, and having won over the crowds, they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing him to be dead.” Christians are forcefully met with physical and spiritual forces of wickedness not wanting their existence and expression of their love for God.  As believers, we must expect some form of persecution as part of our walk with the Lord. However, some experiences are really inhumane. The joy in this is that Jesus suffered the same, so we cannot be exempt. We have confidence that in the mist of it all God cannot and will never abandon his church. I believe that for some of us our own marks of persecution are spiritual; laboring in prayers and standing with the persecuted church. As intercessors, especially with the freedom with have, we will be held accountable if we don’t pray. It our way of standing with them.

  1. Pray for the blessing of the Lord over the persecuted church. Matthew 5:10-12Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. “Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”

  2. Pray against the demonic powers released from the kingdom of Satan. Pray against the strong holds of the nations.  2 Corinthians 10:3-4For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.”

  3. Pray that the persecuted church will continue to experience the delivering power of God. 2 Corinthians 1:10-11He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us again. On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us, as you help us by your prayers. Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many.”

  4. Pray for the government of nations that are dictators that God will soften their hearts. In nations such North Korea or Eritrea etc. Romans 15:30-33I urge you, brothers and sisters, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to join me in my struggle by praying to God for me. Pray that I may be kept safe from the unbelievers in Judea and that the contribution I take to Jerusalem may be favorably received by the Lord’s people there, so that I may come to you with joy, by God’s will, and in your company be refreshed. 33 The God of peace be with you all. Amen.”

  5. Pray that persecution will only push forth the agenda of Christ-soul winning for His glory. Pray that the persecuted believers may be delivered from the evil hands.  2 Thessalonians 3:1-3As for other matters, brothers and sisters, pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it was with you. And pray that we may be delivered from wicked and evil people, for not everyone has faith. But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.”

  6. Pray that their faith will not be shaken, and they will always trust that God will come through for them. 2 Timothy 3:11persecutions, and sufferings, such as happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium and at Lystra; what persecutions I endured, and out of them all the Lord rescued me!”

  7. Pray that God will strengthen the persecuted church to stand strong. Pray that daily they will put one the weapons of war; God’s full armor. Ephesian 6:10-12Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”

  8.  Pray that the spirit of forgiveness will always consume the hearts of the persecuted church. Acts 7: 59-60While they were stoning him, Stephen prayed, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” Then he fell on his knees and cried out, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” When he had said this, he fell asleep.”

  9. Pray that in the midst of persecution, the Gospel will continue to spread. Pray the oil of grace and power to minister upon them. Acts 11:19-24Now those who had been dispersed by the persecution which arose over Stephen travelled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus and Antioch, giving the message as they went to Jews only. However, among their number were natives of Cyprus and Cyrene, and these men, on their arrival at Antioch, proclaimed their message to the Greeks as well, telling them the good news of the Lord Jesus. The hand of the Lord was with them, and a great number believed and turned to the Lord. News of these things came to the ears of the Church in Jerusalem and they sent Barnabas to Antioch. When he arrived and saw this working of God’s grace, he was delighted. He urged them all to be resolute in their faithfulness to the Lord, for he was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and of faith. So it happened that a considerable number of people became followers of the Lord.”

21-Day Prayer & Fasting: Day 4 – Fruit Bearing Mystery

I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.
— John 15:1-8

 The word of God is full of real practical application for life. The health of a tree depends on the owner of the tree and what he does to make the tree produce good fruits. The fruit however, cannot exist by chance, it must be produced from the branch which can NEVER exist on its own either. The gardener is very faithful. 2 Thessalonians 3:3But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.” He never sleeps nor slumbers (Psalm 121:4). To ensure that he establishes the branch, He prunes it so it can bear good and more fruits. It is so interesting that the gardener watches a branch with a fruit and initially goes after that branch because he is attracted to much fruits. It is in the pruning process that more fruits are produced and are harvested. This process can be tedious, long, and tiring but I tell you, any branch that endures is certainly going to produce great and lasting fruits. When we go through some afflictions in life, it is part of our pruning process. Psalm 119:71 says, “It is good for me that I was afflicted, that I might learn your statutes.” Joseph went through the pruning process to become the second in command in Egypt (Genesis 41). Joseph was a branch and the Lord knew the potentials he had invested in him. Genesis 39:2 says, “The Lord was with Joseph, and he became a successful man, and he was in the house of his Egyptian master.” If Joseph has focused on the pain he was enduring during the pruning process, he would have lost the fruit bearing ability, but we see that he continued to bear even more fruits because he was connected to the vine. The vine has all that is needed for fruit bearing; thus, we must REMAIN in the VINE to PRODUCE and to be NOTICED by the GARDENER who PRUNES to PRODUE MORE.  There is no fruit producing ability out of this connection.

  1. Pray that God will grant you the grace to remain connected and allow Him to prune you. (John 15:1-8)

  2. Pray that your walk will be worthy and pleasing so that you can become a fruit bearer. Colossians 1:10So as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.”

  3. Pray that you will never become a non-producer. Luke 13:6-9And he told this parable: “A man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found none. And he said to the vinedresser, ‘Look, for three years now I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and I find none. Cut it down. Why should it use up the ground?’ And he answered him, ‘Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and put on manure. Then if it should bear fruit next year, well and good; but if not, you can cut it down.’”

  4. Ask for the grace to develop the different fruits of the spirit. Galatians 5:22-23But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.”

  5. Pray that you will not only produce fruits but will produce the fruits that bring God all the glory. John 15:8By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.”

  6. Pray that the Holy Spirt will help you uproot any tree in your life that has not been planted by him. Pray against any form of contaminations. Matthew 7:17-20So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will recognize them by their fruit

  7. Pray that your trust and confident in God will not be shaken by the circumstances of life so that you will be permanently planted in him. Jeremiah 17:7-8Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.”

  8. The secret of fruits bearing is to remain in the vine, that is, staying in the word in his presence. Pray for the grace to keep you in his word. Psalm1:1-2Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, 2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night.”

  9. Pray that you will grow in grace and knowledge of the Lord. 2 Peter 3:18But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.”

  10. Pray for the constant filling of the righteousness of God. Philippians 1:11Filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.”

  11. You cannot say you abide in him yet not walking in his footsteps.  Pray for the grace to walk in the footsteps of Jesus. 1 John 2:6Whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.”

  12. If Jesus with all the power could do nothing without his father, what more of us. Pray for total dependence on him. John 5:19So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, that the Son does likewise.”

  13. A fruit producing branch cannot be hidden. Pray that your light/fruits must be visible so others can see and follow. Matthew 5:16In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”

  14. Pray for fruit bearing anointing to continuously flourish in you.  1 John 2:27But the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie—just as it has taught you, abide in him.”

  15. Ask the Lord for patience because sometimes it’s not easy to wait for the fruits. James 5:7Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains.”

  16. Pray for spiritual strength to endure during the pruning process. Colossians 1:11May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy.”

  17. Finally reflect over your life and ask what kind of fruits have you been producing? Thank the Lord and ask for the grace to push on. If no fruits yet, do not be discouraged you can begin with Jesus today.

21-Day Prayer & Fasting: Day 3 – Serve the Lord in Humility Not Pride

Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout aloud, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your king is coming to you; righteous and having salvation is he, humble and mounted on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.
— Zechariah 9:9
Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.
— Philippians 2:5-8

How amazing it is when one reflects on these passages above.  Prophet Zechariah introduces the Savior to the church as a king, giving one an opportunity to have a mental picture of a king; a recognizable figure with all that the name brings and stands for, yet it continues by stating He is righteous, humble, and being transported by a colt? How can a believer in Christ Jesus says he/she is serving God while walking in pride and arrogance? Serving God is what each and every believer in Christ Jesus has been called into. Humility is the key that unlocks the door of service. Zechariah 9:9 illustrates how Jesus came to serve God in human form on earth, leaving behind all the “goodies” of heaven and humbled Himself to use a colt for His grand entry into Jerusalem. He had the means, the power, and the ability to command the best means and entourage to usher Him into Jerusalem, but He did not do so because that would have been contrary to His mission of a SERVANT for God’s SERVICE on earth. It was humbling enough for the “Mighty and Holy God” to choose to set the “sinner man” free in the place of His wrath. Thus, there was no other way Jesus would have presented Himself in the service of His Father to accomplish the mission of saving lives.  Philippians 2:5-8 further clarifies this humble state of the Servant-Jesus who was here on earth to serve His Father’s interest. Jesus was God but never in the state of a SERVANT made any attempt to equalize Himself with God, however He totally EMPTIED Himself from everything he had. If any believer will therefore serve this great and mighty God, he/she must and cannot bypass humility. We must totally be like Jesus, empty everything we hold dear and present ourselves as EMPTY VESSELS for Him to fill and use. Humility is what ushers the “SERVANT” into the place of “SERVICE” he/she has been called to render services and nothing else can be exchanged for it. May the Lord open our eyes to see the need to be humbled enough so we can actually be servants and so accomplish the mission of the service of saving lives through the word of God.

  1. Pray that everyone who considers themselves a servant must acknowledged that they are nothing before God. Genesis 18:27Abraham answered and said, “Behold, I have undertaken to speak to the Lord, I who am but dust and ashes…”

  2. Ask the Lord to reveal to us who we really are. Exodus 3:11But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?”

  3. Oh that man may be humble because humility drives away the wrath of God. 1 Kings 21:29Have you seen how Ahab has humbled himself before me? Because he has humbled himself before me, I will not bring the disaster in his days; but in his son’s days I will bring the disaster upon his house.” 2 Chronicles 12:12And when he humbled himself the wrath of the LORD turned from him, so as not to make a complete destruction. Moreover, conditions were good in Judah.”

  4. Humility opens the door of grace and spiritual upliftment so pray for help. 1 Peter 5:5-6Young men, in the same way, submit yourselves to your elders. And all of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because “God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble. Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.”

  5. Humility assist us to grow in the grace and knowledge of God there we because better in our place of service:  2 Peter 3:18But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen”.

  6. Humility enables man to submit to God and without God we are nothing before the enemy. James 4:7 “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

  7. Humility enables man to walk in power and authority in the service of the Lord. Isaiah 61:1The Spirit of the Lord GOD is on Me, because the LORD has anointed Me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent Me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and release from darkness to the prisoners.”

  8. Humility is an expected quality of the call to service so we must choose to cloth ourselves with it. Colossians 3:12Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.”

  9. Therefore, pray that we may cloth ourselves with Christ and nothing else as He is the symbol of humility. Romans 13:14 “Instead, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the desires of the flesh.”

  10. Humility is the fertilizer for bearing fruits that last, therefore desire it. Galatians 5:22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness.” Matthew 7:18A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit.”

  11. Humility gives us access into the presence of God.  2 Chronicle 7:14if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

  12. God does not care about our sacrifices to Him if not offered in humility for humility pleases God. Micah 6:7-8Would the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousand rivers of oil? Shall I present my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? He has shown you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?”

  13. Humility is a catalyst that enables man to fear the Lord. Deuteronomy 10:12 "And now, O Israel, what does the LORD your God ask of you but to fear the LORD your God by walking in all His ways, to love Him, to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.”

  14. Humility enables man to do what is right before God and man without which man would have wasted his time claiming a service for the Lord. Isaiah 56:1 “This is what the LORD says: "Maintain justice and do what is right, for My salvation is coming soon, and My righteousness will be revealed.”

  15. Humility creates a conducive spiritual atmosphere for God to dwell in man. Isaiah 57:15 For thus says the One who is high and lifted up, who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: "I dwell in a high and holy place, and with the oppressed and humble of spirit, to restore the spirit of the lowly and revive the heart of the contrite.”

  16. When the Lord makes His dwelling in man, it creates a better way for Him to drive away the enemy of a man’s life. Deuteronomy 33:27 The eternal God is your dwelling place, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He drives out the enemy before you, giving the command, 'Destroy him!”

  17. Humility makes God to notice man for favor. Isaiah 66:2 Has not My hand made all these things? And so they came into being, declares the LORD. This is the one I will esteem: he who is humble and contrite in spirit, who trembles at My word.”

  18. There is a reward for being humble, go for it. Proverbs 22:4The reward for humility and fear of the Lord is riches and honor and life.” Proverbs 29:23One's pride will bring him low, but he who is lowly in spirit will obtain honor.”

21-Day Prayer & Fasting: Day 2 - A Cry for Forgiveness and Mercy

Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the Lord. ‘Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.
— Isaiah 1:18

One interesting truth about the Lord is that He forgives us without measuring the sin on a scale. If man were God, no one will merit forgiveness as the Bible clearly states that our righteousness is like filthy rags. God has not stopped to invite man to the table for dialogue, irrespective of class, education, social status, race, color, biology, and age. Additionally, His invitation is not a court sentence. This is an invitation to the mercy table where the blood of Jesus atones for the sin of man. What I find fascinating is that God is the one who is extending the invitation, even though man is the sinner who has gone astray. He made His stand of love known to man when His demonstrated that love by sending His Son as a sacrifice for the sin of man. Man has been invited to this table by the blood of Jesus Christ. God has given man His ALL, there is nothing more than this. Man has a choice to come to the table and dialogue with Him, there is no sin that calvary did not carter for. Come just the way you are to the altar, the fresh blood of Jesus Christ is there ready to cleanse everyone one including; families, children, cities, the church, spiritual leaders and leaders of nations, and the general nations, for we all have sinned before this Holy God.

 Why cry for Mercy? The wrath of God is ready to be revealed.  Jeremiah 4:4Circumcise yourselves to the LORD, remove the foreskins of your hearts, O men of Judah and people of Jerusalem. Otherwise, My wrath will break out like fire and burn with no one to extinguish it, because of your evil deeds."

Leviticus 26: 40-42But if they will confess their iniquity and that of their fathers in the unfaithfulness that they practiced against Me, by which they have also walked in hostility toward Me— and I acted with hostility toward them and brought them into the land of their enemies— and if their uncircumcised hearts will be humbled and they will make amends for their iniquity, then I will remember My covenant with Jacob and My covenant with Isaac and My covenant with Abraham, and I will remember the land.”

Transgression: Willful disobedience: An act that goes against the Law. Judges 16:17So he told her everything. "No razor has ever been used on my head," he said, "because I have been a Nazirite dedicated to God from my mother's womb. If my head were shaved, my strength would leave me, and I would become as weak as any other man."  Samson knew he was never supposed to allow his hair to be cut. Each time we tell a liar, disrespectful we are committing transgression

Iniquity: Premeditated. 2 Samuel 12:9Why did you despise the word of the LORD by doing what is evil in his eyes? You struck down Uriah the Hittite with the sword and took his wife to be your own. You killed him with the sword of the Ammonites.”

If we reflect on the verses above it means we have all sinned. We cannot go before the Lord and pray with asking for forgiveness and mercy. Mark 11:25 "And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins”. Daniel 9:9 says “To the Lord our God belongs mercy and forgiveness even though we have rebelled against him.” How can we stand before this Holy God and expect our prayers to be heard if we don’t come asking forgiveness and pleading for mercy?

Ask for forgiveness for yourself. Psalm 32:5 “Then I acknowledged my sin to You and did not hide my iniquity. I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the LORD," and You forgave the guilt of my sin.”

Ask for forgiveness for rejecting the word in God. This is the crisis of the church and nations. 1 Samuel 15:23For rebellion is like the sin of divination, and arrogance is like the wickedness of idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, He has rejected you as king."

Ask for forgiveness for the Church.  Jeremiah 14:20We acknowledge our wickedness, O LORD, the guilt of our fathers; indeed, we have sinned against You.”

Ezekiel 18: 30-32Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, each one in accordance with his conduct,” says the Lord God. “Repent (change your way of thinking) and turn away from all your transgressions, so that sin may not become a stumbling block to you. Cast away from you all your transgressions which you have committed [against Me] and make yourselves a new heart and a new spirit! For why should you die, O house of Israel?  For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone who dies,” says the Lord God. “Therefore, repent and live!”

Ezra 9:6-7  "O my God, I am ashamed and embarrassed to lift up my face to You, my God, because our iniquities are higher than our heads, and our guilt has reached the heavens. From the days of our fathers to this day, our guilt has been great. Because of our iniquities, we and our kings and our priests have been delivered into the hands of the kings of the earth and put to the sword and captivity, to pillage and humiliation, as we are this day.”

Ask for Forgiveness for your family. Nehemiah 1:6may Your eyes be open and Your ears be attentive to hear the prayer that I, Your servant, now pray before You day and night for Your servants, the Israelites. I confess the sins we Israelites have committed against You. Both I and my father's house have sinned.”

Isaiah 65:7Both their own iniquities and the iniquities of their fathers together,” says the Lord. “Because they have burned incense on the mountains and scorned Me on the hills, Therefore I will measure their former work into their bosom.”

Psalm 79: 8-9O do not remember against us the sins and guilt of our forefathers. Let Your compassion and mercy come quickly to meet us, for we have been brought very low. Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of Your name; Rescue us, forgive us our sins for Your name’s sake.”

Ask for forgiveness for your city. It is important to ask for forgiveness because the Lord says in Jeremiah 29:7 “seek for peace and prosperity ... how can we seek when we have gone astray. The first thing to do is ask for forgiveness. Ezekiel 9:9-10He answered me, “The sin of the people of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great; the land is full of bloodshed and the city is full of injustice. They say, ‘The Lord has forsaken the land; the Lord does not see.’ So I will not look on them with pity or spare them, but I will bring down on their own heads what they have done.”

Daniel 9:5we have sinned and done wrong. We have acted wickedly and rebelled. We have turned away from Your commandments and ordinances.”

Ask for forgiveness for the sin of our children. Job 1:5 When a period of feasting had run its course, Job would make arrangements for them to be purified. Early in the morning he would sacrifice a burnt offering for each of them, thinking, "Perhaps my children have sinned and cursed God in their hearts."

Ask for forgiveness for the Ministers of the Gospel. Jeremiah 23:1-2 Woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture!” declares the Lord. Therefore, thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, concerning the shepherds who care for my people: “You have scattered my flock and have driven them away, and you have not attended to them. Behold, I will attend to you for your evil deeds, declares the Lord.”  Jeremiah 23:14And among the prophets of Jerusalem I have seen something horrible: They commit adultery and live a lie. They strengthen the hands of evildoers, so that not one of them turns from their wickedness. They are all like Sodom to me; the people of Jerusalem are like Gomorrah."

Jeremiah 10:21For the shepherds have become senseless and do not seek the LORD. Therefore, they have not prospered, and all their flock is scattered.”

Jeremiah 12:10Many shepherds have destroyed My vineyard; they have trampled My plot of ground. They have turned My pleasant field into a desolate wasteland.”

Ask for forgiveness for the Leaders of the nations. Isaiah 1:23 Your princes are rebels and companions of thieves. Everyone loves a bribe and runs after gifts. They do not bring justice to the fatherless, and the widow's cause does not come to them.”

Ask for forgiveness for the nations. Isaiah 1:4 Ah, sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, offspring of evildoers, children who deal corruptly! They have forsaken the Lord, they have despised the Holy One of Israel, they are utterly estranged.”

Jeremiah 3:12Go, proclaim this message toward the north: 'Return, O faithless Israel,' declares the LORD. 'I will no longer look on you with anger, for I am merciful,' declares the LORD. 'I will not be angry forever.”
