Day 21: Thanksgiving and Praise

“And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”
— Colossians 3:17

Father we say thank you for giving us the opportunity to stay in your presence and intercede for these 21 days.

Psalm 7:17 “I will give to the Lord the thanks due to his righteousness, and I will sing praise to the name of the Lord, the Most High.”

O lord, Thank you for making us righteous through your son Jesus Christ. It’s because of that we have been able to stay at the altar of prayer.

1 Corinthians 15:57 “But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Father we are grateful for the victory we have through the finished work on the cross of Calvary. We match into Malawi in confidence because we have the victory in Jesus might name.

Psalm 9:1-2 “1 I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; I will recount all of your wonderful deeds. 2  I will be glad and exult in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.”

O lord we thank you for all what you have done, what you did last year and what you will do again this year in Malawi in the mighty name of Jesus.

Hebrews 12:28-29 “28 Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe, 29 for our God is a consuming fire.”

Father we thank you for giving us your Kingdom, which cannot be shaken by anything, power or principalities, rules, demonic wickedness, witches etc. We are grateful for the privilege to partner with you to do kingdom business on earth.

Psalm 136:1-3 “ Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever. 2  Give thanks to the God of gods, for his steadfast love endures forever. 3 Give thanks to the Lord of lords, for his steadfast love endures forever.”

We say thank you Lord for your unconditional and unending love towards mankind. It’s only because of your Love towards us that made you help us. We are very grateful.

Isaiah 12:4 “And you will say in that day: “Give thanks to the Lord, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the peoples, proclaim that his name is exalted.”

O Lord we thank you for giving us access and opportunity to call upon your name. Thank you that your deeds are being made known in Malawi. Thank you that your name is being exalted in Malawi.

Deuteronomy 9:3 “Understand therefore this day, that the LORD thy God is he which goeth over before thee; as a consuming fire he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before thy face: so shalt thou drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as the LORD hath said unto thee.”

O Lord, we are grateful that this day you have gone ahead of this Journey to Malawi. Like a consuming fire, you have destroyed every evil, wickedness, powers, works of devil etc that wants to stand against this journey. You are bringing them down, driving them out and destroying them all in the mighty name of Jesus.

Exodus 13: 21-22 “21 By day the Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night. 22 Neither the pillar of cloud by day nor the pillar of fire by night left its place in front of the people.”

Father we thank you that we are not going into Malawi on our own or in the dark. Thank you for going ahead of us to guide us and lightened our path and never leaving us in the dark.

2 Corinthians 3:18 “And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.”

Father we are grateful that your servants in Malawi and we your church will never be that same again as your mighty power will be at work in us during this conference and we are being transformed into the image of your son.

John 16:13 “When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.”

Thank you Lord for your HolySpirit at work in us at the conference. At the end of it all we will not forget to thank you and give you the glory.

Joshua 1:9”Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Father we thank you that you will be with us throughout this journey. Father we thank you for safe travels to Malawi and all the parts of Malawi as well as into the conference venue. Thank you Lord for safe travels back to every destination after the conference.

Receive all your glory Lord in Jesus name. Forever Lord HOZ is grateful.

Day 20: Teach us How to Pray

“To Seth also a son was born, and he called his name Enosh. At that time people began to call upon the name of the LORD.”
— Genesis 4:26
“Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.”
— Jeremiah 33:3

God expects his own to call to him and he will answer. The problem sometimes is that we don’t know how to make the call. Pray that the Lord will teach his church how to call onto him.

Hebrews 4: 16 “Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”

John 16:13 “But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.”

Pray that the Spirit of the Lord will guide and teach them how to access God in prayer.

There is the throne of grace where we have access to as need be. However, we must come in confidence. Pray that during this conference the people will develop confidence in approaching God.

Galatians 5:16-17 “16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17 For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do.”

Pray for Spirit led ministers. God is Spirit and only by walking in the spirit are we able to connect with God in the place of prayer.

Hebrew 11:6 “And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.”

Faith is the method of effective relationship with God. Pray that the ministers will be challenged to put their faith in God.

Acts 1:14 “All these with one accord were devoting themselves to prayer, together with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and his brothers.”

Pray that the ministers of the gospel will stand in unity and be devoted to prayers.

Joshua 1:8 “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.”

The word of God is the way to pray effectively. Pray that God will grant the ministers of the Gospel in Malawi access and revelation of his word as they invest in the word

Psalm 91: 1 “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.”

Pray that God will teach them how to dwell in his presence

John 15:16 “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.”

Fruits are born when we spend quality time in the presence of the lord on our knees. Pray that God will stir within his servants a spirit of prayer.

James 5:16 “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”

Pray that as the ministers come together in confession and forgiveness, God will teach them how to pray effectively.

Mark 11:25 “And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.”

Ask for forgiveness on behalf of the ministers of the Gospel in Malawi. Wherever they have sinned, offended anyone, may the Lord have mercy.

Thank God for healing us
