Day 5: The Grace for Salvation

For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age
— Titus 2:11-12

Jesus came with the anointing that opens blind eyes and delivers souls from darkness into his light.

to open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those sanctified by faith in Me.
— Acts 26:18

My salvation is so precious that each time I think about it, “I can only say thank you Lord”. I am enjoying this free gift that I never paid for because someone stood in the gap so that my blind eyes would be open to see and receive the free grace of salvation. There is a grace that God (Titus 2:11-12) has released for people to come to God and surrender themselves to Christ. However, there is a problem that needs to be solved.

According to 2 Corinthians 4: 4- 5 “3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. 4 The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers so they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 5 For we do not proclaim ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake”, the enemy of salvation has placed a blindness/ veil over unbelievers’ spiritual vision making it impossible to see the grace that has been released for their salvation. Therefore, they remain in the dark held captive by the enemy, don’t care about God or their salvation, as well as think it’s ok to live without Christ. This is where the intercessor comes in; standing in the gap praying and speaking the word of deliverance, shining the light of Christ over that blindness, challenging the powers of darkness, pleading for mercy, standing in the authority in Jesus’s blood and name for their eyes to be open into that grace.

According to Romans 5:7-8 “Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us”, God’s love for mankind was poured into his son and sent into the world to die on the cross. The death of Christ cannot be taken for granted. Therefore, as believers in Christ, we must make every effort to bring others into this amazing love relationship with Christ. There is only one name by which man can be saved and that is JESUS, nothing else (Acts 4:11-12).

Prayer Points

  • Pray that God will grant you/ the church the grace that teaches you to say no to any form of ungodliness so that you can be useful in bringing others to Christ:  Titus 2:11-12 “For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age”.

  • We have been commanded to go into the world and proclaim the gospel of salvation. Ask the Lord to help you/the church fulfill this command, because most often we think it’s the job of the pastor: Mark 16:15-16 “And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.”

  • Pray for a spiritual understanding about salvation in the name of Jesus among unbelievers:  Acts 4:11-12 “11This Jesus is ‘the stone you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone.’ 12Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved”.

  • Pray that the Lord will arise and draw his people to himself: John 6:44 “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day”.

  • Pray that unbelievers will open their hearts to receive this free gift of salvation: Romans 10:9-10 “9 that if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with your heart you believe and are justified, and with your mouth you confess and are saved. 11 It is just as the Scripture says: “Anyone who believes in Him will never be put to shame.”

  • Pray that God will arise in his power and bring the Luke 18:27 “Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.” 2 Peter 3:9 “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”

  • Pray that grace of repentance will fall upon the lost in our families and communities and cause them to be open to repentance:  Acts 2:38 “And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”

  • Pray for the grace to spread the word of God without fear or shame: Romans 1:16 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.”

  • Pray for the grace to shine your light so that you may be a channel that brings salvation to those who meet you: Acts 13:47 “For this is what the Lord has commanded us: “I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.”

  • It’s the desire of God that man everywhere be saved. Therefore, He has given us his word to declare it and bring repentance over our homes, communities, church and the nation of the earth: Acts 26:20 “But declared first to those in Damascus, then in Jerusalem and throughout all the region of Judea, and also to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, performing deeds in keeping with their repentance.” Luke 24:47 “And that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.”

  • Pray that men will seek God at the right season. It can be dangerous to miss the season of deliverance: Isaiah 55:6-7 “Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon’.

  • Pray for the salvation of your loved ones. Pray that God will give you grace to speak the word of God that brings repentance: Acts 16:30-32 “30Then he brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” 31 They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, you and your household.” 32 Then Paul and Silas spoke the word of the Lord to him and to everyone in his house.

Day 4: War Against Unfinished Battles for 2021

But if you will listen carefully to his voice and do everything I say, I will be an enemy to your enemies and a foe to your foes. For My angel will go before you and bring you into the land of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hivites, and Jebusites, and I will annihilate them.
— Exodus 23: 22-23
Together they will be like warriors in battle trampling their enemy into the mud of the streets. They will fight because the LORD is with them, and they will put the enemy horsemen to shame.
— Zechariah 10:5
  1. My Sheep: Ownership: John 10:27  “My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me.” He owns us and He knows everything about us. He knows what battles we will fight and thus trains us. Psalm 18:33-34 “He makes my feet like those of a deer and stations me upon the heights. He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze.”

  2. Listen to God’s voice: (John 10:17). A mother and her infant have a unique instinctive relationship. The mother can hear her child's voice from afar and will instantly be able to identify the child, likewise the child. This is because of the unique kind of relationship they both have developed through the constant togetherness. If a child is separated from the mother at birth, the bonding process cannot be the same. This is not different from our relationship with God. We must spend quality time with the Lord to develop that kind of unique relationship. That is how we will be able to recognize his voice and differentiate it from any other voice.

  3. Do what he has commanded:( John 10:27): Hear his voice and follow him. God’s sheep hears his  voice and follows him. You may not see but when you hear the voice, you can follow the direction from where the voice is coming from.

  4. Known by the Lord:  2 Timothy 2:19 “Nevertheless, God’s firm foundation stands, bearing this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord must turn away from iniquity.” If he calls you his sheep as stated in John 10:27, he must know who you are and whose you are. This is the guarantee that we have Christ when we stand on the battlefield. The enemy must see us as God’s possession and a mark of identification, knowing that he cannot win a war because God is fighting for us.

  5. Be led by the Holy Spirit: John 14:26 “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.”

  6. Ephesians 6:11 “Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.”

  7. Must take a stand for what is right: Daniel 6:10 “Now when Daniel learned that the document had been signed, he went into his house, where the windows of his upper room opened toward Jerusalem, and three times a day he got down on his knees, prayed, and gave thanks to his God, just as he had done before.”

  8. Non-stop prayers until victory: Joshua 8:18 “Then the LORD said to Joshua, "Hold out your battle lance toward Ai, for into your hand I will deliver the city." So Joshua held out his battle lance toward Ai.” Joshua 8:26 “For Joshua did not draw back the hand that held out his javelin until he had destroyed all who lived in Ai.”

Prayer Points

  • Declare this verse over yourself and turn it into prayer: Psalm 3: 2-4 “Many say of me, “God will not deliver him.” Selah But You, O LORD, are a shield around me, my glory, and the One who lifts my head. To the LORD I cry aloud, and He answers me from His holy mountain.”

  • Declare this word on your life today: Psalm 144: 1-8 “Praise be to the LORD my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle. He is my loving God and my fortress, my stronghold and my deliverer, my shield, in whom I take refuge, who subdues peoples under me.  LORD, what are human beings that you care for them, mere mortals that you think of them?  They are like a breath; their days are like a fleeting shadow. Part your heavens, LORD, and come down; touch the mountains, so that they smoke. Send forth lightning and scatter the enemy; shoot your arrows and rout them. Reach down your hand from on high; deliver me and rescue me from the mighty waters, from the hands of foreigners whose mouths are full of lies, whose right hands are deceitful.”

  • Declare this word as you stand in the battle ground: Deuteronomy 20:1-4 “ When you go to war against your enemies and see horses and chariots and an army greater than yours, do not be afraid of them, because the LORD your God, who brought you up out of Egypt, will be with you. When you are about to go into battle, the priest shall come forward and address the army.  He shall say: “Hear, Israel: Today you are going into battle against your enemies. Do not be fainthearted or afraid; do not panic or be terrified by them. For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.”

  • Declare to your enemies that you are rising up now and the light of the Lord is delivering you out of the hands of your enemies: Micah 7:8 “Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise. Though I sit in darkness, the LORD will be my light.”

  • Declare this against your enemies. Let the Lord make you a cup that makes your enemy stagger and a rock that injures anyone who touches you: Zechariah 12:1-3 “The burden of the word of the LORD concerning Israel. Thus declares the LORD who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him, "Behold, I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that causes reeling to all the peoples around; and when the siege is against Jerusalem, it will also be against Judah. "It will come about in that day that I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who lift it will be severely injured And all the nations of the earth will be gathered against it.”

  • Pray that every oppressor of your life, destiny, family, career, marriage must eat their flesh and drink their own blood: Isaiah 49:26  “I will feed your oppressors with their own flesh, And they will become drunk with their own blood as with sweet wine;  And all flesh will know that I, the Lord, am your Savior And your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.

  • Pray for confusion in the camp of your enemies, let them fight against each other: Isaiah 19:2 “I will stir up Egyptian against Egyptian— brother will fight against brother, neighbor against neighbor, city against city, kingdom against kingdom”. Jeremiah 46:16 “They will stumble repeatedly; they will fall over each other. They will say, ‘Get up, let us go back to our own people and our native lands, away from the sword of the oppressor.”

  • Declare that because of the completed work on the Cross of Calvary your head will always be held high above all your enemies who surround you: Psalm 27:6 “Then my head will be held high above my enemies around me. At His tabernacle I will offer sacrifices with shouts of joy; I will sing and make music to the LORD.”

  • Pray that God will move the heart of every pharaoh within three days to restore every stolen position of yours, whether at your place of work, family, ministry, marriage etc. Genesis 40: 12-13 “Joseph replied, “This is the interpretation: The three branches are three days. Within three days Pharaoh will lift up your head and restore your position. You will put Pharaoh’s cup in his hand, just as you did when you were his cupbearer”.
