Day 5- Oh Lord Arise

“ Arise, O LORD, into thy rest; thou, and the ark of thy strength.”

— Psalm 132:8

It’s time to stand with the nation of Malawi yet again. For those who are unfamiliar, there is a lot of suffering in Malawi, the rains has been very limited over the past two year making it very difficult to have food supply. Most people depend on crops for food and source of income. Prices are increasing daily like a well watered garden.

God must be up to something, that is why we must call on him to arise and remember the nation of Malawi. God’s purpose has to come to pass, nothing else.

Isaiah 46: 10-11 “10 I declare the end from the beginning, and from ancient times what is still to come. I say, ‘My purpose will stand, and all My good pleasure I will accomplish.’ 11 I summon a bird of prey from the east, a man for My purpose from a far-off land. Truly I have spoken, and truly I will bring it to pass. I have planned it, and I will surely do it.”

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a future and a hope.”

Psalm 138:8 “The LORD will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O LORD, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands.”

1 Corinthians 1: 8-9 “8 He will sustain you to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 God, who has called you into fellowship with His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful.”

Thank you for your prayers.

Day 4- Harvest of Souls

“I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.”

— Luke 15:7
“Let him know that whoever brings back a sinner from his wandering will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.”

— James 5:20

What a joy to reflect on how the angles are gathered around the throne of God celebrating with shouts of joy over a sinner who has received the grace of salvation.

Matthew 28:19-20 “19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

The mandate of the church is to win souls and equip them to live for God. We must do our part in this business of soul winning.

John 4:35 “Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months, then comes the harvest’? Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see that the fields are white for harvest.”

We have to look up with our spiritual eyes to see that the fields in Malawi are ready for harvest. Therefore we must pray that the Lord will enable them to come to Jesus.

If you cannot travel to Malawi, don’t say you cannot pray.

Day 3- Dealing with spiritual Hindrances and Obstacles

“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds
— 2 Corinthians 10:4

We know that the work of God is always a challenge to the kingdom of the devil, he always tries to stand in the way. We also know and are confident in the fact that every battle is victorious because Jesus already secured the territory with his death and resurrection. 1 Corinthians 15:57 “But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Our battle is always from the place of victory and not defeat. “

Ephesians 6:10-12 “10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”

Our strength is only from the Lord. We only need to put on the already prepared amor of God and walk behind God into the battle field.

Revelation 12:11: "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives unto death”.

We overcome every spiritual or physical hindrance in this mission by the power and authority of the blood of Jesus and the word of our testimony. What is our testimony? Jesus did it.- it is well with us.

Thank you Lord for the victory in Jesus mighty name.
