Day 1

“Giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
— Ephesians 5:20

As we plan to go back to Malawi, it is important that we reflect on and thank God for what did last year. God move so much last year that we are still hearing testimonies.

1. God brought his church closer to him as well as to each other.

2. Bibles were distributed

3. Food items given to those affected by the flood

4. Blankets given to some.

5. Children got tooth brushes and toothpaste

6. Many received salvation

7. Church growth etc

8. Our host in Malawi and the reception and the food etc.

9. Above all, God provided and made the trip a success and gave us victory over the enemy.

Father we have come to say thank you for all you did last year and are still doing even now. We say Lord, receive all the glory, honor and adoration in the name of Jesus Christ.

Today as we come to him in thanksgiving let us remember to praise him when we remember his goodness.

Psalm 95:2 “Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!”

Giving thanks is a sacrifice, offer it to God with a humble heart so that he will accept it.

Psalm 50:14 “Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving, and perform your vows to the Most High.”

God visited Malawi and did something great, we must thank him for his love for Malawi.

Ezra 3:11”And they sang responsively, praising and giving thanks to the Lord, “For he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever toward Israel.” And all the people shouted with a great shout when they praised the Lord, because the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid.”
