Day 7: Securing the Gates in Malawi

“He stationed the gatekeepers of the house of the Lord, so that no one would enter who was in any way unclean.”
— 2 Chronicles 23:19
“Also the gatekeepers, Akkub, Talmon and their brethren who kept watch at the gates, were 172.”
— Nehemiah 11:19

Pray that God will raise gate keepers in Malawi who will war in the spirit against forces of wickedness assigned to challenge the work of God in Malawi

Psalm 24:7-10 “7 Lift up your heads, O gates! And be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. 8 Who is this King of glory? The Lord, strong and mighty, the Lord, mighty in battle! 9 Lift up your heads, O gates! And lift them up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. 10 Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory!“

Gates control traffic as well as can influence what goes in and out of a home or place. In psalm 24:7, we see a reference of gates and ancient door; meaning they have been there for long. A command from heaven has been issued so that the King of glory may come in into the nation of Malawi, Ghana, US, Kenya, Cameroon etc. The enemy is always against the work of God and we must arise to pray all kinds of prayers.

Stand on the word of God and declare this word upon these gates.

1 Corinthians 16:9 “For a wide door for effective work has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.”

Pray that God will arise against the many adversaries standing at the gates in Malawi.

2 Chronicles 14:7 “And he said to Judah, “Let us build these cities and surround them with walls and towers, gates and bars. The land is still ours, because we have sought the Lord our God. We have sought him, and he has given us peace on every side.” So they built and prospered.”

Pray that God will grant all these ministers of the Gospel the grace for building his church; strong church leaders and devoted prayer warriors so that the church will grow and prosper.

Nehemiah 2:17 “Then I said to them, “You see the trouble we are in, how Jerusalem lies in ruins with its gates burned. Come, let us build the wall of Jerusalem, that we may no longer suffer derision.”

Just as in the days of Nehemiah, pray that the ministers in Malawi will come together to rebuild the broken walls and to secure the gates and walls etc of the church.

Revelation 3:20 “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.”

The ministers of the Gospel plays a great rule in the spiritual growth and development of the nation. Pray that they will open up their hearts and mind to the Lord who is constantly knocking at their gates. Pray for the grace to hear God and open up for him to come into the church in Malawi.

Psalm 107:16 “For He has shattered gates of bronze And cut bars of iron asunder.”

Pray that our God will arise in his power and scatter every gates of bronze and iron bars standing against the work of God in Malawi.

Psalm 147:13 “For He has strengthened the bars of your gates; He has blessed your sons within you.”

Pray that the Lord of Host will strengthen those standing at the gates of the nation of Malawi protecting them against every form of wickedness.

Acts 12:10 “When they had passed the first and second guard, they came to the iron gate that leads into the city, which opened for them by itself; and they went out and went along one street, and immediately the angel departed from him.”

God has not stopped performing miracles. Pray that this same God who opened the iron gate into the city for these apostles will arise even in this season of prayers and open every iron gate into the cities of Malawi and set the captives free.

Thank God that our prayers have been answered in Jesus might name.

Day 6: Ministers of the Conference

“The Sovereign LORD has given me a well-instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary. He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being instructed.”
— Isaiah 5:4

As the ministers prepare, pray that everyone who will be ministering, will receive the grace of spiritual alertness so that when the Holy Spirit wake up their ears, they will be sharp and quick to listen and receive instruction of the word the Lord has for his people.

Colossians 4: 2-4 “2 Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. 3 And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. 4 Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should.”

Pray that as the ministers prepare, they will devote themselves to prayer as well as be watchful and thankful.

Pray that God will open the door for the message to go forth with power and clarity.

I John 2:27 “But the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie—just as it has taught you, abide in him.”

Pray that the anointing of King Jesus within the ministers will teach every one of them what they need to know so they will intend teach the people.

Isaiah 51:16 “I have put my words in your mouth and covered you with the shadow of my hand— I who set the heavens in place, who laid the foundations of the earth, and who say to Zion, ‘You are my people.’”

Pray that the creator of the heavens and the earth will put his word in the month of his servants , as well cover them with the shadow of his hand.

Zechariah 4:6 “Then he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts.”

Pray for the program to be led by the Holy Spirit ALONE- not by any wisdom of man, knowledge or intellect in the might name of Jesus Christ.

Isaiah 49:2 “He made My mouth like a sharp sword; He hid Me in the shadow of His hand. He made Me like a polished arrow; He hid Me in His quiver.”

Pray that months of the ministers will be sharp and polished with the word of God.

Mathew 4: 23 “And he went throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction among the people.”

Pray for the teaching grace and anointing to rest upon them so they will teach with wisdom from God.

Acts 28: 31 “Proclaiming the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness and without hindrance.”

Pray for the spirit of boldness and stand against every hindrance in delivering the word of God to his church.
