Day 19: 12/15/23: Praying for Ministers and their Families.

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
— Isaiah 41:10

Ministers of the Gospel sometimes go through a lot not even seen or known by the public and their pain is covered with the grace of God. They go through family challenges, children, financial issues, church issues etc. Sometimes if care is not taken they drop off their spiritual assignment or just carry it out anyhow rather than being directed by the Holy Spirit. As an intercession in your city, church of community, God expects you to pray for them. Psalm 2:8 “Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession”. Ask God to give you these ministers and their families so can carry their burden. Fear is a weapon that the enemy uses to distract us from the values in God. We must pray that they will not fear anything but will trust the God who called them.

Hebrew 13:7 “Remember your leaders, those who spoke to you the word of God. Consider the outcome of their way of life, and imitate their faith. “

Psalm 121 “1 I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? 2 My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.”

Pray that the Lord will arise in his mercy and help them

1 Peter 4:11 “ If anyone speaks, he should speak as one conveying the words of God. If anyone serves, he should serve with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.”

Pray that when they speak or serve at home, they will do so with the grace and strength that comes only from the Lord.

Deuteronomy 33: 12 “About Benjamin he said: “Let the beloved of the LORD rest secure in him, for he shields him all day long, and the one the LORD loves rests between his shoulders.”

Pray that they will rest secured in the Lord and the Lord will shield them from all attacks of the devil.

2 Thessalonians 3:3 “But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.”

Pray that the Lord will strengthen and protect them and their families from any form of evil.

Psalm 121:5-8 “The Lord watches over you — the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm — he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.”

Declare this psalm of them and their households.

Psalm 18:2-3 “The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my savior, My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, And I am saved from my enemies.”

Pray this psalm over them and their family.

Psalm 4:3 “But know that the LORD has set apart for Himself him who is godly; The LORD will hear when I call to Him.”

Pray that God will arise and set their children apart from the world. Pray that God will hear them when their cry out for their children.

Isaiah 44:3 “For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, and floods on the dry ground; I will pour My Spirit on your descendants, and My blessing on your offspring;”

Pray for that the river of God flow into every thirsty and dry ground in these families. Pray that their families are blessed.

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

Pray that only what God has for them shall come to pass.

Isaiah 10:27 “It shall come to pass in that day that his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, and his yoke from your neck, and the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil.”

Pray that their burden be lifted off them and the anointing of the Lord breaks every yoke of the enemy over them.

Philippians 4:19 “And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.”

Pray for every need that the Holy Spirit puts in your heart for them.

2 Corinthians 9:8 “And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things, at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”

Pray that the grace of God will abound at all times and in everything and conditions around them.

Day 18: 12/14/23: The Weapon of the Enemy Shall not Prosper.

“16 See, it is I who created the blacksmith who fans the coals into flame and forges a weapon fit for its work. And it is I who have created the destroyer to wreak havoc; 17 No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from me,” declares the LORD.”
— Isaiah 54:16-17

The Holy Father is the Lord of all creation. The enemy takes what God has created and twist it for his own gain. The enemy entered Judas and he became an enemy of God. Luke 22:3 “Then Satan entered Judas, called Iscariot, one of the Twelve.” This same enemy could not enter Jesus but tempted him and failed. Mathew 4:2 “2 After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. 3 The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.” The Bible says the in John 10:10 “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”

Therefore, it does not matter how he presents himself, he is still the enemy of our wellbeing. He uses different methods, medium, things etc but his mission has never changed; steal, kill and destroy. He kills dream, destinies, visions, he entangles and destroys marriages, hones, children, ministries and ministers. He steals our peace, integrity, personality, identity etc. He enters places, people etc. He goes around looking for opportunities according to

1 Peter 5:8 “Be sober [well balanced and self-disciplined], be alert and cautious at all times. That enemy of yours, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion [fiercely hungry], seeking someone to devour.” When he succeeds; one can see his manifestation through lies and deception which then leads to all sorts of evil such, unholy lifestyle, stubbornness, sexual immorality of all types; adultery, homosexuality, fornication, etc.

The church must arise and be on the watch of the enemy’s tactics.

Romans 12:1-2 “1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”

The way out is to daily present self to the altar of the Lord as a living sacrifice, come by the blood of the lamb, so you can be accepted. Pray for the grace upon the church to present daily.

Pray that the church will embark on serious, continuous Bible study and meditation of the Word of God. This is how we can renew the mind.

1 Corinthians 15:15 “Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.”

Pray for the grace to be steadfast, strong in the Lord and always abounding in the work God has called us into.

Luke 19:13 “Calling ten of his servants, he gave them ten minas, and said to them, ‘Engage in business until I come.”Matthew 24:46-47 “46 Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes. 47 Truly, I say to you, he will set him over all his possessions.”

Pray for the grace to occupy and be found on duties when he comes. ( the place of our calling, prayer, the word, the lifestyle of holiness etc)

Philippians 1:27 “Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel.”

Pray for the grace to maintain the worthiness of the call; preaching the true Gospel, standing in the unshakable truth and Holy Spirit.

Joshua 1:8 “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.”

Pray for the grace of the manifestation of this scripture in the church today. This is the only way out. We cannot do something else and except same results.

Genesis 24:63 “Early in the evening, Isaac went out to the field to meditate, and looking up, he saw the camels approaching.” Mark 1:35 “Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.”

Pray for the grace to seek God at his temple.

1 Corinthians 3:16” Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?”

Pray for the grace to keep this temple Holy.

2 Corinthians 10:4-5 “4The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”

Stand by the authority of the word of God and pull down every stronghold of the mind, argument, mindset that are against the word of God, evil thoughts, etc

Ephesians 6:12 “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”

Sometimes we go to the doctor and consult for stuff like fibroid, bleeding issues, low sperm count, sexual issues. Sometimes people have marital delays, childbirth delays, marital relationships problems. Sometimes it’s these forces of wickedness that are fighting. Sometimes it’s spirit husbands/wives creating these problems.Children in sexual confusion, homosexuality etc. these are the spirits released by the as weapons. Physical you can be a married person but you have a spirit spouse who is very jealous and will never want you to stay married or even get married.

We have to pray them out of our homes, church and communities. These are very wicked spirits and we have to deal with them. We are victorious according to Colossians 2:15 “And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.”

2 Corinthians 2:14 “But thanks be to God, who always leads us triumphantly as captives in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of Him”

We must mark in victory into 2024. We are not carrying any baggage.

Colossians 1:16 “For in Him all things were created, things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities. All things were created through Him and for Him.”

Therefore let this our God arise even now and delivery his people.
