Day 4: Prophetic Declaring Over Our Children

Rejoice, O young man, in your youth, and let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth. Walk in the ways of your heart and the sight of your eyes. But know that for all these things God will bring you into judgment.
— Ecclesiastes 11:9
Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.
— Ephesians 4:29
How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word.
— Psalm 119:9

As we have and will continue to sow the seed of prayers into the lives of our children, our desire is that they live Godly lives, Godly marriages, produce Godly children, spread the aroma of holiness and righteousness in their workplaces, communities, and church. We will continue to sing for joy because our children are walking in the revelation of the glory of God. Our children will not be despised but they will walk as examples of true believers.  “Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.” 1 Timothy 4:12

Declare that as Joshua took hold of the word of the Lord and declared over his household so shall it be with us. Our children will serve ONLY the God that we serve; the creator of the heavens and earth and nothing else. Joshua 24:15 “If it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served which were beyond the River or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

Declare that the blessings of Abraham will rest upon our children and they shall get married the right way and the right time to the right man and woman not the foolishness of today. Declare that the generations after them are blessed because they will walk in obedience. Acts 3:25 “And you are sons of the prophets and of the covenant God made with your fathers when He said to Abraham, ‘ Through your offspring, all the families of the earth will be blessed.” Genesis 22:18 “And through your offspring, all nations of the earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice." Genesis 12:3 “I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you, and all the families of the earth will be blessed through you."

Declare that our children shall go out in joy, peace and even creations will favor them in all their lives. Isaiah 55:12 “You will indeed go out with joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands”. Proverbs 4:18 “18The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, shining brighter and brighter until midday”.

Declare that our children as the future of the church receive the power of the Holy Spirit to minister the word of God through the fivefold ministries. Ephesians 4:11- 12 “11And it was He who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, 12to equip the saints for works of ministry and to build up the body of Christ.” 1 Corinthians 12:28 “And in the church God has appointed first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then workers of miracles, and those with gifts of healing, helping, administration, and various tongues.

Declare this covenant upon our children: The Lord says…..” His Spirit will not depart from the lives of our children….. Isaiah 59:21 “As for Me, this is My covenant with them,” says the LORD. “My Spirit will not depart from you, and My words that I have put in your mouth will not depart from your mouth or from the mouths of your children and grandchildren, from now on and forevermore,” says the LORD.”

Declare a non-stop outpouring of the power of the Holy Spirit over our children until they begin to manifest the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the harvest of uncountable fruits. Joel 2:28 “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions.” Isaiah 32:15 “Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness is a fruitful field, and the fruitful field is counted for a forest.

Declare that because the power of the Holy Spirit is upon the lives of our children, they are anointed preachers, healers of the broken hearts, proclaiming freedom to the captives and calling froth the wrath of God upon the wicked. Isaiah 61:1-3 “1The Spirit of the Lord GOD is on Me because the LORD has anointed Me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent Me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and freedom to the prisoners, 2to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor and the day of our God’s vengeance, to comfort all who mourn 2to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor and the day of our God’s vengeance, to comfort all who mourn”

Declare that our children will be thirty for Lord Isaiah 44:3-4” 3For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.” 4They will sprout among the grass like willows by flowing streams.

Declare this over the children. Isaiah 58:11 “And the Lord will continually guide you, And satisfy your desire in scorched places, And give strength to your bones, And you will be like a watered garden And like a spring of water whose waters do not fail.

Declare that our children will develop a hunger and a thirst for God and the things of God. Declare an outpour of the power of the word and the Holy Spirit upon them. Psalm 42:1-2 “1 As the deer pants for the water brooks, So my soul pants for You, O God. 2My soul thirsts for God, for the living God; When shall I come and appear before God?” Isaiah 44:3 “For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:

Declare that our children will walk in the example God has set for us, he sends his son Jesus to die on the cross because of his love. Declare that our children will walk in the love of Christ. Ephesians 5:1-2 “5 1 Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children 2 and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.”

Declare that our children will not be intimated or discouraged, but will have confident in the promises of the Lord. Declare that the salvation of our children is secured, they are delivered from any form of captivity. Jeremiah 30:10 “As for you, O Jacob My servant, do not be afraid, declares the LORD, and do not be dismayed, O Israel. For I will surely save you out of a distant place, your descendants from the land of their captivity! Jacob will return to quiet and ease, with no one to make him afraid.”

Oh Lord, the frame of our children was not a secret to you, you knew them and set them apart as well as appointment them. Therefore, nothing will challenge the call of God over their lives. We seal this call with the blood of Jesus and declare it permeant in the name of Jesus Christ.  they Psalm 139:15 “My frame was not hidden from You when I was made in secret when I was woven together in the depths of the earth”. Jeremiah 1:4-5 “4The word of the LORD came to me, saying: 5“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

Declare that our children will walk and grow in wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, as well as in the favor of God and man, strong and full of grace to accomplish all their life destinies.  Luke 2:52 “And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.” 1 Samuel 2:26 “And the boy Samuel continued to grow in stature and in favor with the LORD and with man.” Luke 2:40 “ And the Child grew and became strong. He was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon Him.”

Declare that our children must display Isaiah 8:18 “Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion”.

Declare that the Lord will guide the steps of our children and take delight in their entire journey of life, and even when they fall, they will not remain on the ground as they will quickly realize that the Lord is holding their hand. Psalm 37: 23-24 “23The steps of a man are ordered by the LORD who takes delight in his journey. 24Though he falls, he will not be overwhelmed, for the LORD is holding his hand.”

Declare that our children in their generation will possess all these qualities listed here: Daniel 1: 4, 7 “ 4 young men without blemish, handsome, gifted in all wisdom, knowledgeable, quick to understand, and qualified to serve in the king's palace--and to teach them the language and literature of the Chaldeans. 17 “To these four young men God gave knowledge and understanding in every kind of literature and wisdom. And Daniel had insight into all kinds of visions and dreams.” Acts 7:22 “So Moses was educated in all the wisdom of the Egyptians and was powerful in speech and action”.

Stand on the confidence in Christ Jesus to declare that as we have prayed the promises of the Lord over our children, none of them shall fail, the enemy will not steal, stop, alter or delay any one of these promises in any form or shape. They shall all come to pass in Jesus might name.Joshua 23:14 “Now behold, today I am going the way of all the earth, and you know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one word of all the good words which the Lord your God spoke concerning you has failed; all have been fulfilled for you, not one of them has failed.”
