Day 3: Remember Your Mercy O Lord

“6 Remember your mercy, O Lord, and your steadfast love, for they have been from of old. 7 Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions; according to your steadfast love remember me, for the sake of your goodness, O Lord!”
— Psalm 25:6 -7

Pray that God will not remember our sins and transgressions but will relate to us according to his love, his goodness, and mercies.

Colossians 3:13 “Bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.”

Pray for the grace to bear with one another as well as forgive even when it’s difficult to do so.

Romans 9:15 “For he says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.”

Pray that God’s mercies and compassion will not bypass us.

Exodus 34:7 “Keeping steadfast love for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but who will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children and the children's children, to the third and the fourth generation.”

Ask the Lord to forgive and show mercy upon any generational sin, iniquity and transgressions

1 Peter 5:2 “Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve.”

Pray for mercy and ask God to forgive the ministers of the Gospel where they have not performed this duty as per the word of God.

Ezekiel 39:23 “And the nations shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity, because they dealt so treacherously with me that I hid my face from them and gave them into the hand of their adversaries, and they all fell by the sword.”

Ask for mercy of God over the nation, the church and communities.

Day 2: Sing unto the Lord a Joyful Song and praise him with everything within you

“My mouth will speak the praise of the Lord, and let all flesh bless his holy name forever and ever.”
— Psalm 145:21

Day 2 is only a day to praise God thus the only ask is that our praise be acceptable to God most high.

Oh Lord I come today with my mouth to speak praises to you most high God. May my praise be acceptable to you oh Lord.

On this day 2 of our prayer/ fasting we came with a song of joy and shout to the rock of our salvation, the great and mighty king of glory, the mighty man in battle, the righteous, faithful, compassionate, gracious, kind, great God, the alpha and Omega, beginning and the end, everlasting king, all knowing God etc. We humble ourselves before you king of glory and sing to you a song of praise.

We sing of your greatness, your power, your majesty, your worth; etc, you are incomparable. He wants to hear us in his sanctuary. He cherishes all our praises, in different voices and sounds to him.

Psalm 150 “1 Praise the Lord.

Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. 2 Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness. 3 Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, 4 praise him with timbrel and dancing, praise him with the strings and pipe, 5 praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals.6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.”

Our God is great and the king above all gods, the maker of the heavens and the earth, he holds it all by his great power. He rules in power and authority. We are the people in his pastures.

Psalm 95:1-7 “1 Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. 2 Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song. 3 For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods. 4 In his hand are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to him. 5 The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land. 6 Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker; 7  for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care.”

We sing to God most high, for his name is the Lord. He wants to hear us even in the desert of our lives.

Psalm 68:4 “Sing to God, sing praises to his name; lift up a song to him who rides through the deserts; his name is the Lord; exult before him!”

In unity we raise our voices in praise, the heavens released your glory and we the church are blessed. Thank you Lord.

2 Chronicles 5:13”And it was the duty of the trumpeters and singers to make themselves heard in unison in praise and thanksgiving to the Lord), and when the song was raised, with trumpets and cymbals and other musical instruments, in praise to the Lord, “For he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever,” the house, the house of the Lord, was filled with a cloud.”

We praise you oh God of justice who seats on the throne, who silence the enemy and nations on our behalf, wipe them off the earth, uproot eve. their cities, cause thier mommies to perish etc. What kind of God??

Psalm 9: 1-8 “1 I will give thanks and praise the Lord, with all my heart; I will tell aloud all Your wonders and marvelous deeds. 2  I will rejoice and exult in you; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High. 3 When my enemies turn back, They stumble and perish before You. 4 For You have maintained my right and my cause; You have sat on the throne judging righteously. 5 You have rebuked the nations, You have destroyed the wicked and unrepentant; You have wiped out their name forever and ever.6 The enemy has been cut off and has vanished in everlasting ruins,You have uprooted their cities; The very memory of them has perished. 7 But the Lord will remain and sit enthroned forever; He has prepared and established His throne for judgment. 8 And He will judge the world in righteousness; He will execute judgment for the nations with fairness (equity).”
