2019 is the year of the Lord’s favor over His people. Isaiah 49:8-10 says “In the time of my favor I will answer you, and in the day of salvation I will help you; I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people, to restore the land and to reassign its desolate inheritances, to say to the captives, ‘Come out,’ and to those in darkness, ‘Be free!’ “They will feed beside the roads and find pasture on every barren hill. They will neither hunger nor thirst, nor will the desert heat or the sun beat down on them. He who has compassion on them will guide them and lead them beside springs of water.”

This is the year of experiencing an uncommon favor from God. This is the time when those who have never known what the goodness of the Lord looks like, will be able to stand and testify about the goodness of God. It is a season of breakthroughs and testimonies, not almost there but a time of taking back that which is rightfully ours. A season of total restoration of whatever the enemy has stolen; a time of laughter and celebration. A time of experiencing God’s total freedom. A time of enjoying green pastures, even in places where people see barrenness we shall see fruitfulness. A time of experiencing the covering by the canopy of heaven. A time when we shall actually feel the hand of God holding us, walking along, and giving us that assurance that He is with us through every step. A time of drinking from the springs of living waters.

Finally, it’s also a time to forsake all our fleshly ways and serve God in spirit and truth. It’s only by knowing and applying the truth of God’s word that we can experience total freedom.
