God is not a man that he will not say the truth according to the Bible. Therefore, when we come to him in a time like this, we must first believe, create an atmosphere of confidence, and have faith that he keeps his Word and thus will hear and answer us. We cannot be double minded.
Mathew 18:21 “Then Peter came up and said to him, “Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?”
Mark 11:25 “And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.”
1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
Ask God to forgive us, his church, our children, families etc as we also forgive everyone, there is no limit of forgiveness. Unforgiveness is the key that locks our breakthroughs.
Exodus 33:14 The Lord replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”
The presence of God is everything. Pray that he goes with us and dwells with us.
Mathew 16:19 “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”
Pray that God open our eyes to see and use the KEYS he has given us. Pray that we take our rightful positions in Christ to bind and loose whatever the Holy Spirit shows us.
Joel 2:27 “You shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the Lord your God and there is none else. And my people shall never again be put to shame.”
Because the Lord is in our midst, we will not come back with any package of shame, sorrow and disgrace.
Psalm 34:4-5 “I sought the LORD, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. They looked to Him and were radiant, and their faces were not ashamed.”
Pray that as we wait on the Lord in this season, we will be delivered from all fears because he has not given us the spirit of fear.
Romans 8:28 “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”
As we fast/pray we must wait in confidence, knowing that it’s not a waste of time, knowing that everything will work out for our own good irrespective of what the circumstance is. God’s purpose always prevails. Ask God to give you that understanding.
1 Peter 5:10 “And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.”
God has all kinds of graces needed for our daily living. This is the time to ask for the manifestation of what is needed for you specifically; examples; the grace of restoration, confirmation, strength, establishment, ministry, fulfillment, and finishing your assignment etc.
Mathew 11:28-30 “28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
Pray that we will not miss the opportunity to lay down at the feet of the master every burden, pain, sorrow, yokes, troubles etc
“Psalm 46:10 “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”
Pray that God will be exalted on this earth as he finds us waiting in stillness and having confidence that he is God.
Hebrew 4:12 “The word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword,
piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
Pray that God’s word will find expression in our lives, family, church, nations during this season. Pray for the revelation of this word. Pray for the transformation of lives
Note: Remember to join the prayerline daily at 9 pm during these prayer/fasting days.
