“if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.””
My people here refers to the church. God is ready to hear our cry but his conditions are; humility, seek him- he must matter- first place, turn away from our wicked ways. God will hear, forgive and heal our land.
When God answer us, we will experience Deuteronomy 28:10 “Then all the peoples of the earth will see that you are called by the name of the LORD, and they will stand in awe of you.”
1 Timothy 2:1-2 “1 First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, 2 for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.”
We are called to pray for all people and those in positions of authority. Pray that God will direct the hearts of leaders of the nations into repentance. If leaders serve God, it will be ease to govern in righteousness and peace will reign. Pray that Intercessors will rise up and take positions of constant prayers for the leaders.
Proverbs 21:1 “The king’s heart is a stream of water in the hand of the LORD; he turns it wherever he will.”
Pray that God will arise and direct the hearts of leaders in the nations of the world into what he wants.
Proverbs 28:2 “When a country is rebellious, it has many rulers, but a ruler with discernment and knowledge maintains order.”
Pray for Godly wisdom, knowledge, and understanding for leaders of nations.
Psalm 33:12 “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage!” Isaiah 60:12 “For the nation and kingdom that will not serve you shall perish; those nations shall be utterly laid waste.”
The stronger the church in a nation, the better the nation will be. Pray that the church will desire to worship God in Spirit and truth so that it can influence the direction of its nation.
Mathew 12:18-19 “18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit”
Pray for the grace for this commission. Pray that the church will enforce on the practice of winning souls.
Zechariah 2:11 “And many nations shall join themselves to the Lord in that day, and shall be my people. And I will dwell in your midst, and you shall know that the Lord of hosts has sent me to you.”
God has a plan for the nations. Pray that nation Intercessors will open their hearts to the burden of the Lord and bring this word to pass.
Psalm 22:27 “All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations shall worship before you.”
Pray that the eyes of the nations will be open so they can see the need to worship God their creator.
Isaiah 60:3 “And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.”
Pray that the light of Jesus will shine into the darkness of the nations and cause them to see the need of salvation.
Psalm 2:8 “Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage, and the ends of the earth your possession.”
Mathew 24:14 “And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”
Pray that God will raise Intercessors who will answer the call to pray for the entrance of the gospel and salvation of souls in the nations.
Revelation 7:9 “After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands.”
Pray that this glorious day shall come to pass- a time when nothing else will matter but every man, woman, child of every tribe and nation will stand together to worship God.
Psalm 33:10-11 “10 The Lord foils the plans of the nations; he thwarts the purposes of the peoples.11 But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations.”
Specific Prayer for Cameroon: Pray that God will arise and scatter every plan of man that has taken over that Land. Pray the God will arise in his mercy and cause his purpose to be established over Cameroon.
Daniel 2:21 “It is “God who changes the times and seasons; He sets up kings and deposes them. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning.”
Pray that God will arise in the situation in Cameroon and dethrone this kind of wickedness that has been in the leadership for the past more than forty years.
Also pray for the American elections that God will arise and select the president for the next four years.
Jeremiah 29:7 “Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the LORD for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.”
Pray for the peace of God over American especially in this election season. Pray that God will uproot the perpetuators of wickedness and will not allow January 6, 2021 to repeat itself.
